You twitched your eyebrow as the four of you step foot through the cold and dark grove.(self-pun, badum tss). Lost and wandering while blames were being thrown amuck as to who directed who. A groan tried to escape your vocals but it was piled under the loud accusations. While it was loud and irritating, it pushed aside the eerie feeling the forest gave off.

But another feeling that was pushed off to the side for later, was heartache. Not just from you, but Ash. It had only been a short amount of days after releasing his first captured pokemon into the wild, and while it was nature's doing, it was still pulling at some heart strings. And upon looking at the angry and bickering kid, you couldn't help but think this agitated side of him was just a cover up.

But no matter how much he was hurting on the inside, he was still the first one to throw the blame. Before you could jump at the moment, Brock stepped in before you to cut it. But that only seemed to make the moment more heated.

"Uhm" You piped. But your squeak was wasn't loud enough to break up the trio. "Guys?"

As you tried hard to get through to them, your attempts were in vain. It was just no use in getting their attention.

"Shouldn't we be focusing on finding Saffron City?" You pleaded. But you began to grow annoyed when no one even spared you a glance.

"Hey!" You spoke up a little bit louder, your tone growing a bit fiercer.

You tapped your foot as the three of them bickered amongst each other while you stood off to the side, as if you were transparent, unknown to the eye. Pikachu spectated on your shoulder, seeing as you were to burst at any second. Kind of like an Electrode.

You inhaled sharply, drawing air in your lungs "Stop it!"

Your voice echoed a bit too loudly as you exhaled deeply, your diaphragm lowering with the fall of your lungs. But your outburst caused more attention than perceivable. Meeting the eyes of your three friends, they were quite bewildered at your explosion.

"Where did that come from?" Ash asked, still a bit stunned. You flinched, blushing from embarrassment from your little outburst.

"I-i was trying to get your attention!"

"Well, you most certainly got it" Brock said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Jeez!" You pouted, crossing your arms over your chest. "Fighting isn't gonna get us out of here"

A giggle of a child's innocent voice emitted through the barren and dark forest, and the tapping of a ball being swatted at. The four of you glanced in the same direction to see a small, tiny, doll like little girl standing alone in between the tree's. To be honest, a child her size would seem to be around the age of six, but height was a deceiving thing. Some people would've guessed higher for you.

"Isn't it kind of late to be out here by yourself?" You inquired, but it was more of a statement. The little girl continued to giggle, completely ignoring your question. In this situation, to you, this looked like a scene from a horror movie. The little girl was creepy enough as it is. Lost in the forest with your three friends, you couldn't help but only think of just that.

"Do you live around here?" Ash tried to reason. "Can you help us? We're kind of lost"

The little doll like girl continued to giggle. But in her gigglyness, her hands dropped the ball, and as if in slow motion, she started to descend farther into the forest.

"Wait! Don't go!" Ash suddenly beckoned as the little girl began to run off, which provoked him to chase after her.

"Ash, wait!" You called. As you left the two friends behind, you tailed up behind the boy as he went farther into the darkened forest. As you chased, you noticed a big drop off near the end.
