When Peter and Penny got back to his apartment, they had decided to take a well deserved break. They had brainstormed enough for their pill, and they just wanted to relax.

"So, what movie do you want to watch?" Peter asked as he opened his movie cupboard. Penny was overwhelmed at how many he had. There was every single Star Wars film, Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, Harry Potter, countless Disney classics, the Emperor's New Groove, Get Smart, the Lego Movie, Indiana Jones, the Spongebob Movie, and literally dozens more.

"I have no idea how you expect me to choose," Penny laughed as she sat down on the floor, going through the row of movies.

"We could always watch A New Hope, it's a classic," He replied, taking it out of the case.

"I mean, we could, but what about," Penny paused as she scanned the titles, her eyes lighting up when she found one, "the Care bears movie!"

Peter quickly leaned over and grabbed it out of her hands, eyes wide with embarrassment. "That's not mine! It was Ned's, his uh, his cousin! His cousin left it here. She was 6!" He spluttered out.

Penny laughed at him, shaking her head in disbelief. "Yeah sure. I believe you."

Peter was red, and there was no way of avoiding it. "Alright, alright. It's mine, you caught me. Don't give me that look! It's a classic, and actually good," Peter laughed, shoving her shoulder.

"I can't knock it, till I try it. Pop it in Parker," Penny smiled, as she made her way to the kitchen to make popcorn.

While Penny was in the kitchen, Peter was setting up the TV. He grabbed some blankets and pillows from his room and pulled the coffee table closer, so they would be able to prop their feet up.

"You want anything to drink?" Penny asked as she poured the popcorn into a bowl.

"Whatever's in the fridge is good," Peter replied, laying out a blanket across his body.

She nodded her head grabbing two cans of coke, the popcorn bowl, and made her way to where Peter was sitting.

"Oh no. You did not just steal all those blankets for yourself," Penny sassed, stealing one of the three that he had wrapped around him.

"Hey! These are the ultimate blanket strats! You wrap one around your legs and butt, one around your torso excluding the arms, and then drape the final blanket on your head like a Russian grandmother," Peter defended, crossing his arms in his blanket cocoon.

Penny laughed but shook her head. She sat down with enough space between them so that the popcorn bowl could fit. She swaddled herself in the blanket and propped her feet up.

"Press play, I'm not getting any younger," She teased. Peter rolled his eyes, but complied.

About halfway through the movie Penny groaned loudly, "Uhhhhhhhhh. Bro, this movie is so bad. Like, who cares that Nicholas has no friends? Boy just needs to get over himself and move on, stop trying to curse the entire town just because you suck at being compassionate."

Peter laughed at her commentary, "Well then what do you suggest we watch?"

Penny tilted her head to the side, "I heard that Airplane is really funny."

"Oh my god that is one of the greatest comedies of all time. I'm putting that on, like, now," He gushed, throwing his blankets off and running to the DVD player. Penny took this time to steal his two blankets, and wrapped them securely around herself.

When Peter turned back around, his face dropped. "What, are you doing, exactly?"

Penny looked at him innocently, "I don't know what you mean."

Peter scoffed and plopped back down on the couch right next to her, stealing back one of the blankets. "Airplane will literally make you pee your pants, it is so funny. Also I deserve this blanket."

Penny rolled her eyes, but the small smile on her lips was proof that she wasn't actually annoyed. They paid attention as the movie started, not realizing that the gap between them was nonexistent.

They had adopted a steady rhythm, Penny would take a handful of popcorn and eat it slowly, and while she was eating Peter would take his handful. Throughout the movie, they constantly readjusted trying to get more comfortable, eventually settling on them both under the same two blankets.

As the movie progressed, Penny had to keep wiping her eyes from laughing so hard. Neither of them even noticed when she had moved her body so that it was slightly leaning against his arm, and neither took note of when Peter absentmindedly adjusted so that his arm was behind her, but resting on the couch instead of her shoulders.

May walked out of her room to grab a glass of water but couldn't help but notice the two teenagers sat on the couch, basically cuddling each other. She knew that they weren't dating, but after observing their behavior and seeing them so close while watching a movie, she couldn't help but feel her heart swell.

Now, May would never tell Peter this, but seeing him and Penny together reminded her of when Ben and her had started dating. They never realized how touchy they were until it was pointed out by their friends. Then not long after, Ben had asked her out. May couldn't wait until one of them made a move, she could tell that they would make a great couple.

She slipped back into her bedroom, smiling widely to herself when she saw that Penny laughed so hard that she actually leaned on Peter for support. Cuties.

The movie finally ended, and Penny's stomach hurt from laughing so hard. "Oh-Oh my god! 'I like my coffee like I like my men!' Classic!"

Peter chuckled with her, "And don't forget, 'I am serious. And don't call me Shirley.' It's so funny!"

He bent over from laughing so hard, knocking the popcorn bowl over, and spilling kernels everywhere.

"Nice going, you dip," Penny giggled, while moving the blankets off their legs so they could start cleaning it up.

"Yeah, yeah, laugh all you want. I'm a klutz, I can't help it," Peter sarcastically said, while crawling on the floor searching for stray kernels.

"Yeah, you really are just super uncoordinated. How can you swing through life and like fall on your face every two seconds? I wouldn't be able to handle it," Penny teased, poking her tongue out.

Peter tensed up. "W-What did you say?" He asked nervously.

"I don't know man, you're just highly uncoordinated. I was just saying that it would suck," She explained, slightly confused.

"O-Oh. Okay," He sighed out, relieved that she still didn't know he was Spiderman. Things were quiet after that, and he made his way to the trash when he had collected all the popcorn on the ground.

Peter grabbed them both another can of coke and sat back down on the couch, offering one to Penny. "So, how about another movie? May can order a pizza."

She smiled as she took the can, "As long as it's Mean Girls, I'm in." Penny grinned as Peter groaned, reluctantly getting up so he could put the DVD in.

He sat back down under the covers, and they both instinctively shuffled closer to each other, happy smiles on their faces as the movie began.
