also when i get on a computer at some point i will be formally doing this but right now i'd like to dedicate this chapter to canineclifford because they took my story idea and turned into something i would have never been able to write and i'm so glad they have it ahh ok anyway enjoy the chapter

it had been three days and ashton was already stuck up in his room. he was used to always being able to have a damn opinion on things but here, no they hated his opinion. he didn't understand how two people who looked so nice could lock him in his room simply for speaking out of turn. he is slightly happy though that they chose him and not luke. luke would not be able to handle this sort of thing. he had issues with the rules they had at the home. he completely believes that luke would cry every night because he would hate it here.

ashton doesn't like it though either, which is why he called the orphanage to schedule an appointment to talk with them. he told his 'parents' that he had forgotten a few things and that he was going to grab them after school. he figured he could just take a bus or two to get across town to the home and talk to them about his new family and the conditions.

when ashton called though, they told him that luke wasn't doing well. they said he hadn't left his room in many days and that he wasn't cooperating with the workers there. ashton get very concerned, this was how he acted the last time he was brought back from the family that adopted him. he remembers luke only allowing him into the room to talk for hours upon hours. luke was always very good at talking, even when he was crying into ashton's shoulder trying to figure out why no one wanted him and why everyone always left him.

ashton felt horrible after thinking about all the times luke cried himself to sleep after having panic attacks because he felt that no one loved him. ashton would always tell him that he loved him so much and that if he ever felt unloved that ashton would be there for him. he honestly couldn't even imagine what luke was feeling right now. he felt so bad for leaving luke like he did. if ashton would have just told luke he was leaving the day he found out, he could have explained to luke and maybe luke wouldn't be as broken as they were saying he was.

all he could do was wait until after school to go and see the young boy.
