Midoriya found himself tucked up snugly on the detaining room's bed. Which was slightly weird considering he had no recollection of how he fell asleep. Sitting up, he scanned the surroundings, hoping to see Todoroki somewhere. As expected, he wasn't there, much to Midoriya's expected disappointment. He cupped his face, trying to remember yesterday's events, a tinge of red climbing up his cheeks as he remembered he kissed Todoroki.

"Midoriya."
"Hm...?"
"I can see you're tired. So before you sleep. Remember this."
"Tomorrow's interrogation. Please say you know nothing."
"..."

Midoriya smiled ruefully.

Know nothing. Huh.

Sighing, he flopped down on the bed.

Much to his dismay, the heavy door swung open, revealing two policemen at the entrance. Perfectly normal, until the fact dawned upon him that they weren't clad with guns or shields or such. Clearly meaning that they didn't see him as a dangerous person, which was slightly suspicious as they would have been notified if he was the suspected killer of Kamui Woods.

"Midoriya Izuku, please come with us."

Heaving himself to his feet, Midoriya walked cautiously towards them, brain still swamped with questions. He was treated more like a witness than a criminal.

What's going on?

Walking rather slowly, he was led to another room, lit by harsh light this time. He squinted his eyes, a table and three chairs stood in front of him.

Oh.

An interrogation session.

"Please take a seat." The two gestured to the chair.

"They'll attend to you soon."

Midoriya sat down, left to his own thoughts as the door shuddered close again. He sighed, this was bad for his brain, which was failing to comprehend the current situation.
They're acting too comfortable given the current position.
"Midoriya-kun?"
Someone calling his name shocked him back into reality, as he realized he had been unknowingly muttering to himself. Turning his head towards the door, he opened his mouth.

"Yes-" His mouth went slack, behind the detective, stood Todoroki.

He felt his blood pressure shoot up, and he thought his heart was going to explode from his sudden presence. Mentally cursing, he tore his gaze away from Todoroki and focused on the detective, clad in the usual dusty brown cloak, his strikingly clean face. He immediately knew who that was, he'd seen his name and face plastered all over the news before.

The detective called Tsukauchi Naomasa.

Shuffling into the room, they sat down. Tsukauchi beamed at him, crinkles forming at the corners of his eyes and mouth, Todoroki however, opted for saying nothing, but merely looked at Midoriya with intent. An Midoriya found himself floundering under his gaze. His eyes seem warmer, thawed.

Happy.

"Now let's begin, this wouldn't take long, so rest assured Midoriya-kun."

It wasn't long, that sentence, no it wasn't long at all. But it felt like eternity under his unwavering gaze. Those piercing jet black eyes, dark, abyssal, even. Not one of menace, but of intelligence.
