Kentrell Gaulden

"Kentrell!" My mother yelled running behind me as I walked to my Corvette. "Kentrell! Stop! What are you doing?" She said closing the car door before I could get in.

I stared at her before sighing. "I gotta get tha' fuck away from yall dawg." I rubbed my face, "How do you even know that's my child?" I raised my eyebrows.

She rolled her eyes pulling me towards somebody house, "You might see something disturbing but don't mind it." She opened the door. The first thing I saw was a pool of blood. Blood all over the walls and the furniture. Mama dropped my hand gasping, "He's gone." She whispered making me scrunch my eyebrows.

"Mama what are you talking about?" I looked over at her. She really tripping right now. Dragging me into somebody house with nothing but blood all over the fucking place. I'm finna get the fuck outta here if she don't say anything.

"Baby Joe-" She took a deep breath before continuing, "I shot him and he was supposed to be dead b-but he's not here." She sounded like she was panic but she stayed calm. "And why did you shoot him?" I looked around at the mess before looking back at her.

"Because he tried to rape Ta'Leah, talm' bout she was gone have his baby next." I shook my head pulling out my phone sending a text to one of my home boys to clean up this mess. Of course I said it in code, don't need the feds on me.

"Come on. We gotta get outta here." I grabbed her arm. She pulled away from me and gently picked up a picture of a little girl that was on the counter. "This is her." She handed me the picture smiling. I looked at the picture closely before gasping. This baby look just like me. She has my eyes, the same face structure, even the little small gap in between her teeth. "Yup this is my baby for sure." I said smiling but my smile quickly faded once I realized Ta'Leah has been hiding my child from me this whole time. She even told me she had an miscarriage.

"Whea' dat bitch at?" I placed the picture in my pocket looking over at my mama. Her eyes widened before slapping my head, "Watch ya mouth boy and she said she was going to her other house wherevers that at."

I nodded my head pulling out my phone. I dialed one of my homies numbers waiting on him to pick up, "Aye I'mma need you to do something fa me right quick." I mumbled into the phone walking to the door. "Yeah what is it?" He sounded excited. I guess because I haven't told him to do anything for me in a while.

"I need you to find Ta'Leah Jackson."

Ta'Leah Jackson

"Here." I handed Au'lani the candy she was crying for. I had to stop at two stores because she wanted some peanut butter M&Ms. The first store I stopped at didn't have them so I had to go to another one. "Tank you mommy." Au'lani smiled at me showing her little gap while opening her candy. As we were walking to my Truck I saw an all black car slowly driving around the parking lot.

I got a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach so I grabbed Au'lani's hand. "Come on, let's go." I quickly walked to my car. I buckled her in before getting in myself. I swerved out the parking lot and drove to my little beach house. As I stopped at an red light I saw the same black girl behind me making me sigh. Once the red light turned green I drove straight down the road before making a left. I looked in the review mirror to see the same black car following me. "Am I trippin'?" I mumbled to myself. I made a sharp u-turn and so did the black car.

"Oh hell nah." I shook my head and pressed down on the pedal. The black car was keeping up with me as I was speeding down the highway. I was too busy looking at the black car behind me to even notice I was on the wrong side of the road. I pressed hard on the breaks when I saw the other car coming in my direction but the car didn't even stop.

We both collided head first with each other making me hit my head hard against the steering wheel. I then felt something else hit the other side of the car making it flip over. I looked in the back to see Au'lani gone making my eyes widen. "Au'lani." I whispered before everything went black.
