One Step Closer

With roses in his hand "Aw, how sweet"

He handed me the ruby red roses and gave me a hug, I could smell his cologne 😍. He really does smell good.

"All for you beautiful" Joshua replied

"Have fun kids" my mum said

"Oh and be back by 9" my dad added

"Daad" I groaned

"9:30"

"Thanks bye mum, bye dad"

"Bye Mr and Mrs Yln"

"Bye Joshua" they said in unison

Joshua and I walked to his car and got in, once we were settled Joshua took out two gift bags

"You can have one now and one later"

I analysed the gift bags, but I couldn't see any shop logos on them so it made my choice harder plus they were both the same sized bags

"Can I have that one" I pointed to the one he was holding in his left hand

"Sure" he passed me the bag

Straight away I started rummaging through the bag and pulled out two tickets which were nicely wrapped with a ribbon

"What are these for?" I said while scanning the tickets

"Look at the back"

I turned the tickets over and excitement took control of my body.

"No you didn't" I said and gasped in shock

It was two tickets to go and see August Alsina, I basically jumped up and down in my seat

"If you weren't driving right now I would kiss you"

Wait what did I just say?

Realising the words that just came out my mouth, I started looking out the window for a distraction, hoping he didn't hear me

"So how about if I stop driving" Joshua said as he started to pull over into a car park

"We'll find out"

After he finished pulling over we got out of his car, he came over to my side of the car and took my hand

"That kiss would be perfect right now"

We both leaned in, he put his arms around my waist and I put mine around his neck. The kiss we shared was filled with so much passion and lust, amazing.

"Wow" I whispered as I pulled away

He locked the car doors and then took me by my hand, he lead me to the beach, where we sat down on some sand

The sea looked incredible in the evening, the sun reflects off the waves as it starts to set, as I watched the waves crash and collide with the sand on the shore I noticed Joshua staring at me

"You've been staring at me for quite a while" I let out a little laugh

"Yeah, you just look so... I can't even find the words" he said laughing nervously, rubbing the back of his neck

"You don't have to be nervous around me" I said as I placed my hand on his hand, he looked at my hand on his and smiled

"I know, it's just that I don't usually take girls on dates" he explained

"I don't usually go on dates either" I explained

"I see, anyways come. I have something for you" he said pulling me up
