Home Again

Because I'm too lazy to write the entire vacation where you bought stuff and looked around. :3

   You were so glad to be back in Ponyille, you felt like Pinkie Pie. As you galloped home, you enthusiastically greeted everypony you passed. Your house was just around the corner, when you ran into your best friend, Electric Charm. "Hey Yn, nice to see you again, too!". He shook his cropped, spiky mane as he got up. This pegasus had been your best friend from the beginning. "How'd you find the Empire?" Yes, the question you were waiting for. Deep breaths. "It was. Absolutely. AMAZING!!!". Words tumbled from your mouth, telling him everything. You even pulled out the mysterious shard. When he saw it, he froze. "H-hey Nn? I don't think that's a piece of crystal." You just looked back at him. "Of course it's a crystal. It came from the Crystal Empire, what else could it be?" "I dunno, but it's not very crystally. you probably shouldn't have it." You huffed, rolling your eyes as you gently pawed the ground. "You're just jealous, Charm. It's just special, not dangerous or anything of the sort. Okay?" 

    Even as he nodded, you knew he didn't agree. You instead continued onward to your home. It was the perfect distance from your favorite places, Sugarcube Corner and the Golden Oak Library.  As you opened the door, Charm placed of hoof on your flank. "Just be careful with that thing, whatever it is. Okay?" You could see the concern in his eyes, it was almost putting him in tears. "Alright, fine. If it makes you happy", you relented to his ever caring will. The effect was immediate, worry lines disappearing and a bright smile gracing his face. You sighed and walked inside, placing your saddlebags off in a corner. It felt great to be back
