I was dreaming. Floating through space. The stars were beautiful. Twinkling, innocent. It was magical.
I could see the earth, so small like an ant from here, clouds surrounding it. Suddenly a force pushed me so that I was spinning in circles uncontrollably, sickness stirring in my stomach.
"Marinette" Adrien called, voice echoing through space.
"Marinette" It wasn't Adrien.
"Marinette!" Luka?
Everything exploded. I sat up from my bed.

"Good morning beautiful. Did you have a nice time last night?" said Luka, facing me, shirtless. He had a date tattooed near his hip. 01.01.2018.
It hit me. We had gone back to his place and I was angry, I was sad. I asked him to make me forget everything.
"Guess I wasn't good in bed then?" he asked me, grinning as he sat on the edge of his bed.
"No it was great, I mean, you know I'm dating Adrien" I replied as a rested my head in my hands.
"You know you said that you didn't care about him? Then you dragged me into my bedroom like an animal. It was really hot." he laughed in disbelief as if he had won the lottery.
"This isn't funny Luka" I said, room spinning, everything becoming smaller.
I quickly put on my clothes from yesterday, hair a mess.
"Can we at least talk about this?" he asked, as if we were going to start a life together or something.
"I quit. Don't tell anyone about this ok?" I shouted running out of the bedroom door. I heard him call for me, but I kept on running, until I got home and I was soaking in the bath.

I came out in my soft white bath towel, wrapped up like sushi, all pink. I then walked into our room. Adrien was sitting on the bed.
"Why didn't you come home last night?" Adrien asked, panic in his voice and dark circles around his eyes. He had been crying.
"Sorry, I just felt like working a bit later. I just don't think the cinema is for me. I quit." I replied. I hated lying.
He stood up and hugged me, I think he was crying, I'd rather not know the answer to that, so I rubbed his back.
"I thought you were in trouble." He said, voice breaking.

"You did what?!" Alya shouted, dropping her fork on the table in the new Italian restaurant in town.
"I know...I don't know what to do." I replied salty tears making my chips even more salty than they already were.
"I'm sorry, this isn't good Marinette, you have to tell him."
"No I can't. I don't want to loose him."
