I saw you in my dreams
You were lying on my bed
Your face looked peaceful as you slept
I rubbed your cheek
I never loved you as much as I did
I saw you in my dreams
We were standing face to face
Arguing like always
Even in my dreams, we hate each
I saw you in my dreams
We were sprawled out on the floor
Our chest was moving in sync as we breathed heavily
Smiles plastered on our faces
We were happy
I saw you in my dreams
You were leaving me
All your belongings packed in your car
Desperate... I begged you to stay
I saw you in a place
You were a blur in the distance
At least I thought it was you
