Pinned up

I have a lot on my mind but I don't say much
When people ask I make something up
I trash my room and sometimes try to cut
Both of these things let me express what's been pinned up
My anger towards my mom and my worries about my dad
The school assignments that tower over me and are waiting to fall
My sister that won't let up
The weight that clings to my body even though I starve to get slim
The disrespect that my cousin shows
The answer about my sexuality that's got me choked up
These things are weights on my chest
They make me feel like I'm pinned against a wall
I pin them up so I won't fall
Yet I fall anyways
