"This is a much more neon red though." Peter tilted the testing pad in the light. "It's also glow in the dark. You know she'd love that."

"Well, you know her better. But don't be offended when she wants to wear black." Karen's teasing voice responded.

Peter sighed and grabbed the red, glow in the dark nail polish. "You know what? I'll just buy an extra bottle of black polish and make it glow in the dark just in case."

Peter walked up to the stunned cashier and placed all of his nail polishes down. "These please." He pulled his bookbag off his back and reached a gloved hand into it to grab the spare money he scraped up.

"I-um-okay." The girl dumbly scanned the 8 diffrent nail polishes. When she was done she looked at Spiderman hesitantly, the boy oblivious to her stare as he tried to locate his money. "So... you're actually a girl?"

Peter froze and turned to the girl wide eyed. "What?! No!"

"Oh, well..." She gestured to the nail polish sheepily. "I just assumed."

"Nononono." Peter laughed sheepishly. "They're for my moms and sister. They've been working really hard and I thought they could use a break. So we're having a girl's night."

She gave Spiderman a suprised look. "You'd let them paint your nails?"

"To make them happy? Of course." The girl have him a soft smile and handed the bag of polishes over to him. "How much?"

She hold up her hands, "It's on the house."

"Are you sure?"

She nodded, "On behalf of New York City and all the lives you saved, this is the least I can do. Now go have fun with your family."

Peter gave her a huge smile that he was sure she could see behind the mask. "Thank you..." He looked down at her nametag, "Rachel."

She smiled, "No problem."

Peter stuffed the plastic bag into his bookbag and zipped it back up. "Have a good night!" He waved and exited the store, taking a running start he swung high into the hair and over the city. Making his way back to his Aunt's appartment.

Like Break

Peter approched the receptionists desk that sat outside Miss. Potts office. "Hello Mrs. Carol, is Miss. Potts free?"

Mrs. Carol smiled at the kind young boy she grew to love as a grandchild. "Yes hun, you came at just the right time. She has ten minutes untill her next meeting."

Peter gave the woman a smile, "Thanks Mrs. Carol." She nodded and Peter quickly made his way into the office, wanting to take up as little of Miss. Potts time as possible. "Miss. Potts?"

"Yes, I understand but you were the one who originaly scheduled the meeting. Mr. Stark is a very busy man." Pepper gave Peter an appologetic smile and placed a hand over the phone, pulling it away slightly. "Give me a minute sweetie. I'm almost done." Peter nodded and shuffled akwardly as Pepper resumed pacing. "Well that's not my fault. You need to get you things together. This is the third time you've done this and I won't stand for it. If you can't set a proper time and date then Mr. Stark won't waste his time." She roughly hung the phone up and pinched the bridge of her nose, mumbling about needing a vacation.

"I can come back later-"

"Oh no sweetie your fine!" Pepper smiled and beckoned Peter over, pulling him into a hug. "What can I do for you Peter?"

Peter rubbed his neck nervously. "Well, I wanted it to be a surprise but I'll need your help kicking the others out of the Compound." Pepper raised an amused eyebrow. "What I mean is. You, Miss. Romanoff, and Wanda have all been working really hard. Not to say the others havent but still. You guys don't get much girl time so I thought we could all have a girl date. But to do that we'd need to kick the boys out and I don't think they'd listen to me."
