Requested by sarahbabut. Basically it's just how the Avengers would react to seeing Peter sing and dance to the song last chapter. I hope they like it!!
~.~.~

The Avengers were sitting outside of Midtown High, waiting on their favorite teen to exit the building.

They were going to suprise the teen and take him to the fair that came to town a few days ago. Afterall, the teen wouldn't stop talking about it.

They were happily chatting amungst themselves, ignoring the awed stares of kids as they passed. Tony and Bruce were chatting about Peter's latest invention, the teen wanting their constructive critisism on it. Natasha, Clint, and Sam were teasing eachother on various things. Thor and Loki (who visited purly because they wanted to partake in suprising their favorite Midguardian) were quietly talking with eachother leaving Wanda, Vision, and Rohdey to talk to eachother. Bucky and Cap respectively remained silent, opting to just enjoy everyones presence.

After most of the student body had cleared Tony began to worry. "What's taking the kid so long?"

The others frowned, realising that Peter should've been out by now. "Give him a couple more minute Tony." Clint waved the billionair off. "He may be talking with friends or teachers."

Five minutes later the Avengers were in the school. Searching high and low for their beloved team mate. "Hey, RedWing for him! Music room 2 near the back of the school." The others instantly responded to Sam's alert; running to the music room.

Once they reached the room tony began to open the door, stopping after a inch or two. "Why'd you stop?" Clint asked, getting quickly shushed by Tony.

"Look." He slowly cracked the door open more, allowing the others to see in.

Peter was currently offering a painful smile to a non-existent crowd as he sang, "I can fake a smile." He gently placed a hand on his stomach, turning his smile into a painful grin, "I can force a laugh." He began to spin and leap, "I can dance and play the part if that's what you ask." Peter clutched his chest and gestured outward as he sang, "Give you all I am." Taking a determinded stance he schooled his features. "I can do it. I can do it. I can do it!"

"But I'm only human!" A tear escaped his eye as he began to leap again, turning one leap into a graceful fall. "And I bleed when I fall down." Peter gently cupped his knee as if he scraped it. "I'm only human! And I crash and I break down!" Peter fisted his hair as more tears escaped him. "Your words in my head, knives in my heart. You build me up and then I fall apart. 'Cause I'm only human!!"

The gang didn't know how to react. Why was Peter singing this? Why did it sound like Peter was talking to someone as he did this? Is he okay? The Avengers continued to watch on with mixed emotions.

Peter stood, wiping his eyes, "I can turn it on." He then bowed, "Be a good machine."

They all winced at that. Was that how Peter felt?

Peter grabbed his shoulders, falling onto his knees as he pretened to hold up an invisable weight. "I can hold the weight of worlds if that's what you need." Peter's body dropped into a head-to-floor bow, "Be your everything."

Tony twitched, wanting to approach the teen about this. Wanting to hold the kid he thought of as a son.

Slowly standing up he chanted, "I can do it. I can do it." He gave an 'oh-well' shrug, "I'll get through it."

Natasha opened her mouth to say 'you shouldn't have to' but quickly shut her mouth, not wanting to disturb Peter. She knew that they all, herself included, had felt the same way. Pushing away their personal needs to push and pull through for others. Only responding with an 'I'll live' or 'I'll get through it' if someone were to ask how they were.

"But I'm only human!!" Peter pounded his chest as more tears streamed. "And I bleed when I fall down! I'm only human! And I crash and I break down! Your words in my head, knives in my heart. You build me up and then I fall apart. 'Cause I'm only human!"

Peter hugged himself and slowly backed up. "I'm only human! I'm only human! Just a little human!!" Peter's back hit the wall as he stared ahead brokenly. "I can take so much. Till I've had enough." Peter skrewed his eyes shut and slid down the wall. He sobbed, loud, ugly sobs. Letting everything out; breaking the Avengers hearts.

Nobody wanted to think what Peter meant by the last statment. Surly the happy, livly teen didn't mean what they thought he meant.

Tony wiped his eyes as Loki entered the room. With a wave of his hands a small green butterfly appeared, gliding over to Peter gracefully; landing on the boys knee.

Peter peaked out from behind his arms, looking at the butterfly then past the familliar green bug towards the group of Avengers.

Peter's eyes widened, his mind finally registering what his eyes were seeing. "Guys! I-I um-" Peter began to wipe his eyes but Tony had already strode over to the teen and dropped to the ground with him.

He pulled Peter into a hug and rubbed his back, "This is a hug kid. It's okay, let it out."

And he did, even louder than before. His sobs shaking both his and Tony's body.

The others quickly joined, making a dog pile of support on Peter. All voicing their own reassurance.

After roughly 27 minutes of crying  (on not only Peter's part) everyone began to stand; Peter feeling definitively better. "Come on Pete," Natasha squeezed the teen's shoulder. "We have a suprise for you."

Needless to say, Peter's bad day had turned into an okay day. And there was nothing wrong with that.

~.~.~
Ok, how was that? I hope it was good! The last sentance was supposed to mean that it's okay Peter's day didn't turn into a 'good day.' That it was ok it only turned into an 'okay day.' Does that make sense?
Anyways(!), I hope y'all enjoyed!! Have a fantabulous day!
~Toodles!
