S P A C E || Nomin 《Completed》

The walk to work was quiet, but not uncomfortable quiet. Jeno was enjoying the night sky and air. But Jaemin was feeling a bit out of place, he's still not getting used to everything, but he's trying his best and Jeno is actually helping him. He doesn't question Jaemin, he just laughs at it and leaves it. But Jaemin knew if he'll stay this way and things stay like this Jeno will eventually start asking stuff he wouldn't know how to lie about it. He hopes to finish his mission soon.

Jeno and Jaemin walked inside the restaurant. They were greeted by a smiley Taeyong. "Hey, will Jaemin be able to work tonight with you?" He asked looking back and forth between the two.

"No, his cut is still not fully healed. Maybe tomorrow he can." Jeno said and Taeyong nodded.

"Up until now each time I ask a question to Jaemin you answer, is he not from around here?" Taeyong asked, Jasmin's face turned to a shade of pink.

Jeno chuckled. "He is not from around here, but he does speak Korean and all, he's just shy." Taeyong chuckled lightly and nodded motioning Jeno to start his shift.

"C'mon, Jaemin." Jeno said, taking a hold of Jaemin's wrist to lead him to the staff room. Jaemin's face was a shade of red and he felt hot. He thought he was still Sick, but still didn't know what kind of sickness is this.

Jeno wore his uniform quickly and went to over to where the other casher who's shift has ended, so Jeno can finally start his shift.

Jeno brought a chair for Jaemin to sit in. Jaemin gladly sat down, watching Jeo already working and talking to costumers who would like to take their food to eat it at home or anywhere else and answering phone calls for delivery. He was more of person who would like to order from home and eat there rather than eating inside the restaurant.

"Jaemin." Jeno suddenly said, trying to earn the younger' attention, which he did.

Jaemin hummed in response.

"Do you have a nickname?" Jaemin froze, what is a nickname?!he thought. He felt panicked, what should he answer?!

"I-umm." Jaemin pretend to be thinking when actually he was shitting himself.

"Like for example my nickname is Nono. My friends like to make fun of me and call me 'Jeno-nojam', but they do sometimes say Nono, but mainly they like to make fun of me." Jeno said and chuckled. Jaemin felt thankful that Jeno explained without him asking for an explanation.

Jaemin shook his head. "I don't have a nickname."

"I have a nickname for you, wanna hear it?" Jaemin nodded and smiled.

"Nana." Jeno said smiling proudly. Jaemin liked the ring of it, he smiled wildly liking the nickname a lot. "Your sir name is Na, so Nana!" Jeno said chuckling and Jaemin slightly giggled nodding.

"I'll call you Nana from now on." Jeno informed Jaemin.

"Okay, but in one condition." Jeno nodded.

"You'll let me call you Nono." Jaemin said rubbing his nape. Jeno agreed.

"Deal." Jeno smirked.

"I ordered a large pizza and I got a medium. Can you please try to explain this mistake!" A lady said from the phone Jeno answered.

"I'm sorry, ma'am. There must've been a mistake with the order. We'll l-" she interrupted. "Save it! Give me your manager." Jaemin watched the older sigh. "Can you go get Taeyong?" Jaemin nodded and went to get Taeyong.

He saw him in the kitchen talking with the chefs and all the staff. He walked over to him. "Si- I mean Taeyong-hyung. Jeno needs you in something right now." Jaemin sounded desperate which he was kinda, he felt angry seeing Jeno this stressed by an annoying costumer.

"Yeah, of course." Taeyong said, walking immediately to where Jeno is.

Taeyong noticed the worried expression on Jeno's voice. Jeno softly said a 'I'm sorry.' Before handing the phone over to Taeyong.

"Hello, this is the manager." Taeyong spoke up.

"Your employee missed up with my order. I ordered a large pizza not a medium." She said way too angrily. Taeyong understand her angry, but she was too angry and was not nice at all even talking to him.

"We're so sorry, ma'am. We'll give you a free large pizza as an apology." Taeyong said.

"Okay, but you should fire that employee. This mistake will happen again if he won't get fired." Taeyong felt very annoyed. How could she just order to fire someone for a mistake, while him already offered her a large free pizza.

"It's my job to decide who to fire. Thank you for ordering from our restaurant." Taeyong ended the phone call. He was fed up from her.

"S-she said something about firing me?" Jeno said looking a bit pale.

Taeyong patted his back. "It's okay, I'm not firing you." He said chuckling. Jeno sighed in relief.

Taeyong started walking to go do his thing. "Thank you, Taeyong-hyung!" Jeno shouted smiling.

"He's super nice." Jaemin said, and Jeno nodded in agreement.

Jeno's phone suddenly started ringing scarring Jaemin a bit, which made Jeno chuckle lightly at how cute the younger is.

Jeno reached out to grap it from his pocket, it was the one and only, Haechan.

The restaurants phone started ringing and of course Jeno will answer that one not Haechan.

"Nana, can you get that for me?" Jeno asked before answering the restaurant's phone. Jaemin blushed at the sudden use of nickname, he still thinks he's sick.

Jaemin took the phone quickly and answered.

"Helloooo, Jeno." A soft voice spoke up.

"Hi. This is not Jeno, he is busy at the moment." Jaemin replied.

"Oh right,fuck. He's working. Can you pass him a note from me?" Haechan asked.

"Yeah, why not?"

"Tell him to come by my place tomorrow, it's important. Oh wait no! I'll come to his place." Tomorrow is Saturday, it is the weekend. Jeno would be free to visit Haechan.

"Yeah, sure." And with that they hang up.

Jeno was still talking with the same customer who seems to be ordering everything they have.

Jeno finally finished and said. "I bet this dude is doing a mukbang." Jeno said chuckling.

Jaemin was silently confused at what is a mukbang, but didn't say anything. Jeno noticed. "I'll show you tomorrow what is a mukbang." Jaemin nodded smiling, appreciating the older.

"What did Haechan want?" Jeno asked taking the phone from Jaemin.

"He said he'll be coming to your place, it's important." Jaemin replied.

"Oh, I guess I know what this is about." Jeno said smiling sadly. Jaemin frowned, but didn't wanna ask the older and be nosy.

Jeno was heartbroken from someone, and he knew it needs time. But it is hard when that someine keeps coming back.
