~•Special Chapter 2•~

It was a normal day, yet not quiet. Haechan was freaking out about finals, and Mark kept trying to calm him down, but the younger would just snap at him. Mark got tired so he decided to go for a walk.

As he was walking, he saw his pink head friend with Jeno holding a box you use to carry a pet inside. Jaemin had the brightest smile ever while Jeno was admiring the younger.

"Mark! Hey, look what at the creature we got! It has four legs! Can you even believe that?" Jaemin said excited.

Mark looked at the cat with shook in his eyes.

"It's called an animal, Nana, or a pet." Jeno corrected the younger for the millionth time while rolling his eyes playfully.

"Wow, I never thought a creature who owns four legs would look cute!" Mark said with a chuckle.

"It's a pet!" Jeno corrected yet again.

"I know right." Jaemin said looking with heart eyes at the cute kitten.

"What brings you out alone, by the way?" Jeno asked.

Mark sighed. "Haechan is being a freaking out and all about finals, I tried comforting him and all, but he would just snap at me so I just decided to go for a walk." Mark explained.

Jeno nodded. "Yeah, he becomes a mess during finals week, but bear with him, yeah? He'll calm down, I promise. But don't leave him alone for too long though." Jeno said, advising Mark about his best friend since he knew him like the back of his hand.

Jaemin pouted. "I hope he'll feel better soon."

Mark nodded with a smile and said goodbye to the couple. He then sighed and frowned. He didnt wanna leave the younger, but he really needed to and he felt Haechan wanted space afraid of completely blowing up at Mark. But at the same time, Haechan is clingy, he'll eventually would want the older to be beside him, cuddle him and just be there with him.

But right now, Mark just wanted to clear his mind and let the younger also calm down and sort out things and maybe he'll come around.

As he was walking, he came across a flower shop. It caught his attention and it immediately reminded him of Haechan. He smiled and went inside. The bell at the door rang and the worker there welcomed him.

"Are you looking for anything specific, sir?" The worker asked.

Mark shook his head no. "I want something nice and pretty for my boyfriend. He's been stressed and tired lately so I just want to cheer him up with something nice."

The worked nodded and started walking around the flowers trying to find the one he was looking for. "I suggest you give him Orchids. They have this exotic and extremely beautiful nature. I suggest the yellow Orchids, yellow is a happy color so it'll help cheer your boyfriend up!"

Mark saw the flowers and his eyes lite up, to say the least, he loved it.

"Yeah, I want this one." Mark said with a bright smile.

The worked nodded and wrapped it in a bouquet and handed it to Mark. "I hope it cheers your boyfriend up." The worked said with a smile.

"Me too." Mark said with a smile.

Mark reached his shared apartment with the younger, he opened the door then turned around to close it.

"Mark?" Haechan softly said.

Mark turned around with a flower bouquet in his right hand. Mark walked slowly towards the younger with a smile in his face, holding the bouquet with both hands now.

He handed it to the younger, who was still in shock not quite processing what's happening.

"T-that's for me?" Haechan stammered.

Mark nodded.

Haechan started sobbing. Mark wore a worried expression with a slight panic. "You don't l-like them?"

Haechan shook his head.

"Then what is it, baby?" Mark asked softly.

"I-I was a dick for the past few days y-yet you got me flowers! Y-you're the sweetest ever, I can't even-" Haechan said between sobs, then continued. "I thought you were m-mad at me, and I was worried because I really can't help it when I'm stressed and all, but y-you...you're just amazing!"

Mark chuckled lightly and handed the younger the flowers and hugged him tightly. "I know, I know. I was not mad yet not really happy so I did want to go out and clear my mind, hoping you'd also clear yours, but I also wanted to cheer you up and let you know that I understand and that I'm here for you always."

Haechan sobbed harder and hugged the older tighter. "I love you s-so much." Haechan said in a muffled voice because his face was hidden in the older's chest.

Mark smiled. "I love you too, Haechannie."
