S P A C E || Nomin 《Completed》

~•Unfamiliar•~

Jaemin's cut was completely healed by now, so he asked Jeno to go with him to work.

Jeno gladly said yes, but of course after checking up his arm to make sure it was really okay for him to work.

Jaemin stood in the bedroom in front of the closet that Jeno owned not knowing what really to wear. Jeno was already changing, he was taking off his shirt.

Jaemin's eyes were roaming inside the room until they accidentally landed on the older's naked upper half.

He widened his eyes, he have never seen someone's chest, this was very foreign for him.

He forced his gaze somewhere else, immersing himself in finding something normal to wear.

He then felt his body have been pressed a bit forward and felt a masculine figure behind him reaching to grap something from the closet.

Jaemin froze. He felt his heart jump at the touch. He doesn't understand what is that supposed to mean.

Jeno took a shirt from the closet to wear, yes he was still shirtless.

Jaemin turned around to meet a still shirtless Jeno.

"Why are you still shirtless?" Jaemin said while closing his eyes in panic.

Jeno chuckled and wore his shirt.

He came closer to the younger and removed his hands that were covering his pretty eyes.

"I'm done." Jeno said while grinning and left the room to let the younger wear something comfortably.

Jaemin was again left frozen with a loud heart beat.

"I hope this time Jaemin is here to work. Are you okay, Jaemin?" Taeyong while grinning wildly.

"Yes, I am. I can work today." Jaemin said enthusiasticly.

Jaemin was actually excited to finally work. He was bored and tired from just sitting around.

Unlike Jeno who wishes to just sleep and do nothing at all.

"Perfect timing! We were gonna be needing a hand with the dishes tonight." Their boss said and patted both of the boys' shoulders and left to go check up on the kitchen.

"Let's go change." Said Jeno while walking to the staff's room.

Jaemin nodded and followed him to the changing room.

Tonight was going smoothly. No diffucult customers or anything annoying. Everything was just going in the right track.

But of course something has to come and ruin the night for the poor boy, Lee Jeno.

As he was talking to a customer then to another one happily, taking their orders as they wished, a familiar face came. A face Jeno doesn't wanna see at all. Not today or ever.

She walked towards Jeno smiling as if nothing has happened between them.

"It's been so long, Jeno. How are you?" She said faking a caring voice trying to sound sweet and likeable.

"I was doing great until now." Jeno said straight forward not even giving her a glance.

Jaemin was currently on a little break. He was sitting beside the older and he definitely noticed the change of attitude.

At first Jaemin thought of how he could talk to a customer like that, he could get fired immediately. But after listening a bit to their conversation he assumed that maybe this is the ex-girlfriend he and Haechan talked about.

"Don't talk to me like that, let's be mature about this." She said in a rather wise like tone, trying to sound serious yet polite.

"Says the one who cheated on me with a rich dude." Jeno said sarcastically, earning a scoff from the girl and a small chuckled from beside him from the pink head.

"T-that was the past! I'm different now." She huffed and fixed her hair with her hand.

"I don't really care if you did or didn't. Just leave me alone." Jeno casually said, while writing something on his notebook, still not bothering to get a better look at her face.

"I just want a second change with you. I realized how stupid my actions were, and I really really regret it!" She said in a sad tone, trying to convince Jeno that she really did regret it.

"Honestly, if you do actually and truly regret it I still don't care and wouldn't be giving second chances. You did what you did and that's it. There's no turning back."

"E-everyone deserves a second chance." She mumbled.

"No, not everyone." Jeno said while walking away to the staff's room.

She kept calling his name over and over.

Jaemin immediately followed him, not wishing for him to be alone in a state like that.

When he walked there, he closed the door behind them. Jeno then punched his hand on the wall while groaning.

He did it again, and again and wanted to keep doing it and until he doesn't feel the emotions that he is experiencing right now. How could she just come back wanting a second chance and even demanding one as if she had the right to?! Who does she thinks she is?!

He then suddenly felt a soft touch stopping him for hurting his hand no more. He froze.

Jeno was so immursed in his own world that he didn't notice Jaemin walking behind him.

"Y-your hand is bleeding, let me fix this. I'll go b-" he was cut off by Jeno by grabbing his wrist, but it was not a harsh movement. Even at a state like this Jeno's touch remained soft to the younger.

Jaemin turned to be face to face with the older. He didn't expect to be met with wet cheeks. The pink head rushed to wipe his face with his thumps.

"Y-you told me before we cry when we are happy or sad." Jaemin said innocently, not wanting the older to be sad at all.

Jeno only chuckled at the cuteness of Jaemin. He doesn't know why he trusts someone who didn't know what crying means or even blushing. But it's just that the younger was clearly a nice person with no harmful motivation. He was just a clueless boy.

Jaemin frowned seeing how Jeno was chuckling while tears were running down his rosy cheeks.

"Well you can stop someone from crying." Jeno mumbled softly.

"H-how?" Jaemin asked, he was willing to do anything to help the older feel better, even if just a little.

"You hug them." Jeno said and Jaemin was not very sure what hugging means, so he felt distressed.

"It's When you hold someone in your arms tightly." Jeno explained and Jaemin was thankful.

Jaemin took no time to wrap his arms around Jeno. Jeno was glad that the younger got the idea and hugged him because he really needed one.

On the other hand Jaemin never experined such feeling like right now. He felt very warm and safe. It felt like he was somehow complete in some way he couldn't really explain or put into words.

It was such an unfamiliar feeling to Jaemin, but who said unfamiliarity is bad?
