Chapter nine

Promise ring Jonah gave Mia^^

2 week later

Mia's pov

It's been two weeks since me and Jonah started dating. Two weeks since I last seen Daniel.

I wonder what Daniel is doing right now?

I haven't spoken to Daniel for a month. This past month has been hell. The only good thing is that Jonah and I finally started dating. I just wanted my best friend back.

Sighing, I got up from my bed and dragged my feet to my bathroom. I took a shower and brushed my teeth along with my hair. I put on some light makeup and changed into a white crop top and black leggings with white high top converse.

I flopped down on my bed and grabbed my phone. I went to Daniel's contact and just stared at the screen. I pressed call and it started ringing.

Finally, he answered.

"H-Hello?" He answered.

"Daniel" I spoke.

"What's wrong, Mia?" He asked.

I started crying.

"I'll be over in 10" he spoke before hanging up.

"I just want you back" but he already hung up. I'll just tell him when he gets here.

10 minutes later

A knock on my door came and I wiped away my tears. "It's open" I spoke lowly and a tall giraffe walked in.

He sat down beside me, not saying anything.

"I heard you and Jonah are a thing now" he spoke, breaking the silence.

"Yeah, for two weeks now" I smiled.

He hummed.

"Why were you crying?" He asked.

"D-Daniel, I just want my best friend back" I spoke trying not to cry again.

He didn't say anything for a couple seconds. Instead he hugged me.

"I've missed you" he told me and I smiled.

I finally have my best friend back

Later that day

I walked inside the bands house followed by Daniel. We had just gotten back from a long day at the mall.

Jonah came walking out the kitchen followed by Zach and Jack.

"Hey Mia" Jonah said and hugged me.

Weird he never calls me by my name.

"Hey Jonah" I copied.

He grabbed my hand and took me to his room.

"Where have you been all day?" He asked. "You wouldn't answer your phone"

"I was at the mall with Daniel"

"All day?"

"Yeah"

"Why didn't you answer your phone?"

"I had it turned off"

He nodded and walked to his closet, slipping on a black shirt.

That night we had a Netflix and cuddle night.

I'm so happy I got my best friend back.
