My older brother, Ryan was deployed in Afghanistan, and that made it really hard for me to see him. I actually haven't seen him since I was about 8 or 9. I missed him dearly, but I never showed it because I didn't want anyone to feel pity for me.

I couldn't believe that my brother was actually coming home after more than 10 years. I just sat there still trying to process that I was gonna get to see my brother. I then realized that it was 4 AM and that I was really tired, but I couldn't go back to sleep.
About 15 minutes later Daniel woke up and he was moving his arms to try and find me until he jolted up. "Oh there you are," he said while exhaling heavily. I gave him a slight smile while climbing back into his arms. He embraced me in a big warm hug while kissing my forehead. I fell asleep to Daniel rubbing my back and his heartbeat.
The next morning I woke up alone. I got out of the bed and went to the bathroom to use the bathroom, to wash my face, brush my teeth and fix my hair.
I walked downstairs to the smell of bacon🥓😍. Daniel was cooking breakfast in the kitchen while Zach and Mekayla were sucking each others faces off on the other side of the counter🤮😂.
I wrapped my arms around Daniels' waist and stood on my tip toes to put my chin on his shoulder😭😂. "Hey Doll," he said giving me his always great smile. About 5 minutes of us standing like that, Daniel put the fork down and turned around. He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my forehead, then my lips. I smiled widely when we both pulled away, and he went back to cooking.
Mekayla's POV
I woke up in Zach's tight grip. He was still sleeping, so I decided to stare at him. "You know if you weren't as cute as you are this would be very awkward," he said with a huge smile. "Would it?" I questioned while rubbing my chin. He started tickling me and I jumped out of the bed and ran downstairs to Daniel cooking bacon. I quickly said good morning while jumping on the counter. Zach came down the stairs and landed his eyes quickly on me. He sat in a chair and pulled me off the counter into his lap and we kinda...um...started making out😂. "In this kitchen, we keep it PG," Daniel says with full-on sarcasm🧐. "Yea like the time when you and Peyton almost hooked up on this very island in this very kitchen," I replied with sarcasm and a smile😎. Zach snickered at my seriousness. " Touché Forner," Daniel said. I gave him a smile and returned to Zach and I's morning make-out session.
Eventually, Peyton came downstairs and immediately shook her head with a smile looking at me and Zach. Daniel finished cooking and we all ate besides Jack and Jonah because they were still sleeping. Corbyn had gone to the pier with Christina before we all woke up. Me and Peyton washed the dishes and tried to think of something to do today. "What to do what to do," Peyton asked tapping her chin. "We should have a movie night," suggested Daniel walking into the kitchen. "Movie night it is," Peyton and I agreed.
