Mi'arah POV
I woke in the morning feeling so happy. Things were getting good for me. I'd never thought anyone would like me or look at me differently. I'm so used to being "the other friend" . Not everyone in the school really knows me but Keith does . I get up and do my hygiene's and get dressed. I go downstairs to see my mom getting ready for work. My mother works at the hospital on the weekends she's a RN(register Nurse). My mother always worked hard working double shifts and trying her best to pay bills on time. We never really had it all growing up but my mother made sure I had.

Mi'arah: getting ready for work huh?

Tasha: yes I am. I get off at 1:30am

Mi'arah: double shifts again ma?(whining)

Tasha: I have to Mimi who else is going to pay the bills and do everything. I gotta keep paying the light,gas, and buy food. And help pay your tuition for your college soon.

Mi'arah: you right ma. You packed lunch for work?

Tasha: yea I did. What you gonna do today?

Mi'arah: study and do homework nothing much.

Tasha: oh okay I'm happy to see that you went out last night. How was it?(as she puts her shoes on)

Mi'arah: it was fine I was nervous at first but it ended up being great.

Tasha: that's good. Coming out of your shell and opening up.

Mi'arah: yes I guess you can say that.

Tasha: well I got to go . I'll see you later I love you.

Mi'arah: okay mom I love you too .

KEITH POV

I woke up thinking about my date with Mi'arah last night. I had a great time I wanted to see her again. I wondered what she's doing right now? Should I call or text her? I don't want to seem desperate or anything . Whatever I'm gonna call .

Keith calling Mi'arah...

Keith: hey it's Keith !
Mi'arah: yea I know it's you what's up?
Keith: nothing I wanted to know if we can do the project. I have some other ideas I think you might want to hear.
Mi'arah: of course ..umm I'm doing homework now and my mom just left for work we can start . You can come over if you like.
Keith: okay cool I'm on my way.
Mi'arah:okay see you then.

Phone call over...

Mi'arah POV
Moments later I hear my doorbell ring I go downstairs to open the door. And there he stood a smiley caramel tasty Keith.

Mi'arah: hey Keith come on in.
Keith: hey(walking in)nice house.
Mi'arah: thank you.
Keith: so it's just you and your mom ?
Mi'arah: I have three older brothers but they are all off living their lives . But it's me and my mom in the house yes.
Keith: oh okay. Where do they live?
Mi'arah: one lives in New York and the other two here in Sacramento.
Keith: oh okay. Well let's get to work I want to get this done.

Keith POV
We walk into Mi'arah room and I sit down on the floor as she sits on her bed. I feel so shy around her even though I shouldn't because she's so cool and nice. I just can't help to feel shy when I'm around her .

Mi'arah: so what's the ideas you have.(sitting on the floor with Keith).

Keith: so remember I said let's do a slideshow of us interviewing the girls around the school ?

Mi'arah: yea what about it? What are you thinking?

Keith: so we can do that and interview women off the street and in our neighborhoods. And family members too I already interviewed a couple of women even my cousin Kayla I told you about.(pulling out his laptop).
