Chapter 6: Zetsu ¤

Naru was on her bed thinking all about the things she has done for the past few days.

She had been investigating about the mysteries things going on in the castle. Like the fact that she can smell a serpent just underground the school. And the fact that her partner always leave immediately after their nightly and daily patrol and didn't even spared her a glance.

It was hard having to endure the pain in her chest whenever Sasuke doesn't pay attention to her, even thought that she might knew that he was an impostor. But she was not sure. When she use her tailed beast cloak, he was still Sasuke so there was a possibility that he was just acting or the fact that he want to......... no don't think of that!!

But, what's going on?

Is there a reason why?

A reason why he's trying to avoid her?

She have to confront Sasuke herself then if she want some answers.

She turned to the side and saw a hawk by the window, the same hawk of the hokage. There was a scroll attached to its legs. She walked over, opened the window, and took the scroll. And not without thanking the hawk of course, her kindness won't diminish even if she's in a depressing mood.

After it left, Kitsune removed her masked and read the writings on the scroll. It was in kanji so who will pick this will get confused by it and won't even understand a thing.. It said:

Naru,

I will be sending two more there at the place since my spies had warned me about trouble. Orochimaru too had told me about the DNA. We will try and find it while you do your mission.

Naru closed the scroll and put her mask on. She stood up and went to find Sasuke and tell him about the change of plans. She was going to give him the news and confront him about his recent behavior too.

She expanded her chakra to sense where Sasuke is and found that he was at the South part of the Astronomy Tower. She quickly used her father's technique, The Flying Thunder God Technique but without the seals since she improvised it.

There was a yellow flash at the said Astronomy Tower, but it didn't fazed Raven since he knew who it was and probably the only person that can use a hiraishin similar to the Yondaime's. There was only one person that can do that and that person will be Kitsune.

"Raven."

"Hn?"

"Hokage-sama had sent a scroll pertaining about our mission. And I figured that maybe you can see it too since you were not there."

He can hear the anger and frustration alright. He knew that she was angry about his attitude the previous days. Anyone can see it obviousley, even the trio asked him about it. But apparently everyone has a reason, and that reason was about protecting what was his.

"Give me the scroll."

Raven reached out for it but was stopped when a hand had clasped his wrist. He looked up and saw that Kitsune's mask was removed and revealed a face with a hint of confusion and anger. He sigh and removed his mask too and revealed an emotionless face.

"Explain. Everything. Now. Uchiha"

"You."

"What?"

"I said you."

"What about me?"

There was silence.
