Chapter 9: Plan ¤

"What?"

"You heard me Naru and Sasuke. You need to get rid of your mask and join the school."

"Wait what?!!"

"What for?!! And you know we can't do that! Or else our guard duty will collapse!"

"There's a reason why so listen closely you little brats!!"

That immediately shut both ANBU up. "Good, now what am I saying before I was interrupted? Oh right, now there's a reason why your going to remove your mask. Zetsu had reported to me that the only thing that will make Kabuto and this Voldemort guy to appear is that a serious threat will happen against them."

Both ANBU nodded. And Tsunade continued, "Now the only thing that could make them have their move if they caught wind of the fact that the Potter brat is being protected by ninjas and of course Kabuto would have already informed Orochimaru no. 2 (A/N: Sorry have to do that😂😂) about you two, then there's no doubt that the second-in-coming snake will do their move."

Both Naru and Sasuke bluntly ignored how Tsunade addressed Voldemort as the second-in-coming of Orochimaru which they agreed, but they won't speak out loud of course. Now back to the topic, both Sasuke and Naru was contemplating about the situation.

"Oh and both of you have another mission to do."

Sasuke frowns. Sure having many missions was cool and all but come on! They were inside a humongous castle trying to protect the scar head kid from the snake pedophile slash second-in-coming of Orochimaru a.k.a Voldemort.

"But didn't we already have a mission to do?"

"Oh don't worry about it, the mission is another request but this time with money since Dumbledore already feel bad about the whole protection ruckus."

'He really should be!!' Both ANBU thought as they imagined in their minds the cackling face of Dumbledore having the glint of mischief in his eyes.

"He will be giving over a million ryo if you two succeeded on doing this job perfectly."

"Then do tell."

"Dumbledore had informed me that both of you will protect a certain object hidden in the castle. It is highly important as this object can grant........ on what you call................. immortality."

Now this took both ANBU by surprise. A hidden object can do that kind of deed? If it is, then it must totally really important. "What kind of object your referring to?"

"A stone"

"......"

"......"

Silence

"I quit."

Tsunade have to take a double take when she heard what Sasuke said. Never in her life had she heard Sasuke to refuse or even quit a mission when he's ready starting it. Even Naru was shocked, but she actually have a distinct idea why since she saw the twitch at his right eyebrow indicating that he's pissed and annoyed.

"W-why?"

"Oh you want to know why? Why?!"

Naru have to cover her mouth to prevent her from laughing seeing the angry stoic Uchiha's face. "I've already been hired to babysit some brats at this stupid school and now your asking me to protect this immortality thingy on what you call a stone?!!"

Tsunade was now amused. Wow, she didn't know that this is the only thing that can break the bearing of the Uchiha Sasuke.

"Well that practically sums it all up", Tsunade said as she puts her hands on her chin indicating that she was thinking but of course its just a false act trying to annoy Sasuke even more than she already did.

Sasuke's eyebrow twitch as he observe Naru and Tsunade's reaction at his proclamation. And the next thing that Tsunade said made him much more angry.

"Don't tell me that your coward Sasuke~ All you need to do is just protect the whole castle and its all done", Tsunade said a in a sing-song voice which made the others uncomfortable since she doesn't act like this.

Naru grins and said, "Oh don't worry baa-chan. We will do our job just fine. I'll just have to add Sasuke on the list to be watched."

Tsunade had subtly ignored the term she called her an 'old hag'. "Then do your job!"

"Hai~!"

Naru grins as she grabbed Sasuke's collar and literally dragged him out the room ignoring the cursed profanities Sasuke had said or maybe ....... shouted?

Tsunade sighed and shook her head amused by the interaction between the two. Now she lifted her head and glared at the demon entity in front of her.

Paperwork.

Oh how she wished that Minato will tell her how she had finished all his workload so fast. But of course the man is already dead so there's no chance. Now she took her pen and continued doing the paperwork and instantly already craving for sake but nooooooo, Shizune have to come in when Tsunade tried to get one in her secret stocked and automatically brought the sake back its hiding spot and pretended nothing happened and completely ignoring the suspicious look she got from Shizune who momentarily shook it off and sits at the coach and observe her. Oh how she love her life (Insert Sarcasm).
