I grabbed my backpack after thinking for a couple small seconds, I was panicking.
I threw it towards the monster, my books and other things hitting its body, one of my books hit the things eye. Kacchan got his mouth out of the monsters hold as he got a breath of air.
I yelled his name as I went to grab the slime trying to get him out.
"Why are you here?!" He asked, more like yelled
"I-I don't know! My legs, just, started moving!" I continued to grab at the slime, I saw kacchan struggling to get out too.
I thought back to what everybody said, what I said.
I put the biggest smile that I could manage at that point on my face as I told him:
"I couldn't just stand there and watch you die..!"
