A little different

Ch.6

Jon shuffled on Evans back and sat on Evans back like he would on a horses back. He moved his grip as he moved. He pressed his knees against Evans sides. Evan looked back.

"You sure about this?" Asked Evan

"No but I still wanna try, I also hope you catch me if I fall" Said Jon

"Okay, whatever you say"

Owl circled them. He checked the coast was clear.

"DIVE DIVE DIVE!" Yelled owl.

Evan dived down. Jon leaned forward. Craig hugged 2p so he didn't fall off. Owl dived after them. Jon's mask allowed him to keep his eyes open, evan and 2p leveled our once they bearded the group. Owl dove down a bit further before pulling up. He flew back up to Evan and 2p. They all gradually started going up again. Craig kept hugging 2ps neck. Jon leaned back. Evan looked back.

"So you didn't fall" Said Evan

"Luckily" replied Jon

"Yeah, but your friend seems to be traumatised"

"He'll get over it once he tamed a griffin"

"Will he?"

"I dunno, I'm making a wild guess"

Evan hummed. 2p flew next to Evan, owl was flying above them. Craig had let go of 2ps neck. He smiled at Jon. Jon looked at him.

"What?" Asked Jon

"We're flying! And I'm not scared!" Cheered Craig

"Nice, but how'd you get over it so quick?"

"Well I trust 2p so if I fall he'lol hopefully catch me.."

"Good job! And remember, 2ps not tamed, he's just helping us out"

"Damn right" Said 2p

Owl landed on 2ps back and ran forward, he hopped off Craig's lap and dived down before joining them again.

"Maybe you'll tame owl?" Asked Evan

"I'm gonna get tamed!?" Asked owl, 2p sighed

"Don't be so happy about it"

"Who by??"

Jon shrugged. They got to a rocky platform and landed for a break. Owl was sniffing Craig's bag. Craig day down and got some food out. Evan and 2p laid down next to Jon and craig. Jon got some food out his bag and gave some to Evan. Craig shared a bit with owl and gave some more food to 2p. Evan swallowed his whole, 2p put his head back and swallowed his whole aswell. Owl reared into his and ate it bit by bit. Craig and Jon ate their food and Evan fell asleep. Jon leaned on Evan and got comfy, 2p stayed awake and watched the skies. Owl was playing around with Craig's hand. All Craig was doing was patting the floor, waited for owl to jump before moving his hand and repeating. Owl was jumping around and had cuaght Craig's hand a few times, he had lifted up his feet though so the hand moved, continuing the game. Owl eventually cuaght the hand and Craig laughed. Owl yawned and walked over to Craig, he laid next to him and fell asleep. Craig started petting owl. 2p nudged him. Craig smiled

"You too?" Asked Craig

"Yes pwease" Said 2p

Craig rubbed 2ps head, 2p purred. Craig laughed. 

-time skip- (there will be few time skips btw)

Evan yawned and woke up. 2p looked at him. Craig was awake still.

"We should move" Said 2p

Evan hummed. Craig hit Jon in the stomach, since he knew hitting him in the shoulder wouldn't work. Jon coughed and woke up. He glared at Craig. Craig quickly pointed at Evan. Evan got up, Jon fell back. Craig and 2p got up. Craig picked up owl. Evan stood over Jon and looked down at him. Jon pushed at Evans neck.

"Move Evan! I can't get up" Said Jon.

Evan walked away and Jon got up. Craig was already on 2ps back. Owl was asleep infront of him. Jon climbed onto Evans back. They took off again, leavings the rocky platform. Jon looked up, it was around 10pm, and it was autum so it was dark, and with barely any light pollution, there were multiple stars out. Craig was looking up. 2p and Evan leveled our once above the clouds, Craig smiled and Jon kept looking up.

"Nice view" Said Jon

"Yeah, I've never seen it this well before" said Craig.

"Yeah, neither, not even from the mountains near the village"

"We're really lucky to be tamers"

Jon hummed "ye, we are aren't we"

"I can't wait to see which griffin I get to tame"

"I think I've already got one" Said Jon.

"Yeah, you and Evan definitely trust each other, how'd you meet Evan?"

"Hunters"

"I knew they were getting cocky! No wonder they lost 3 in one week!"

"Meh, well we got lucky, what would we be doing if I didn't find Evan though?"

"Well you would be dead and I would be stuck in a library"

"Yeah..."

Evan looked back. "Stop being depressing and just think about here and now, you two are tamers, and I forgot to mention but there aren't many left now, I know griffins who's tamers were killed."

Craig nodded. Jon hummed. Evan looked forward. 

"Hey? Do you guys have saddles?" Asked Craig

"Once tamed, yes, every griffin gets a saddle, I now need to get mine" said Evan

"You're tamed?" Asked 2p

"Ask the tamer on my back"

Jon smiled "I guess so"

Evan looked back. "Don't expect me to follow your every command"

"Oh I don't, but that's gonna be the best part"

Evan laughed. They kept flying and joking about.
