Before Jungkook even realized it the soccer season was almost over. This was a saddening fact that really put a damper on his spirits but only made him more determined as the last game approached.

It was a big day and he had been anticipating it for awhile; practicing and working out on his own time in order to maximize his performance. You had also made preparations and in turn had been making posters for Sam and Jungkook in order to cheer them on when the big day came.

Your room admittedly looked like a nightmare as small pieces of colored paper and craft supplies littered the floor; glitter sparkling and miscellaneous pieces of tape sitting everywhere. You came to school with marker against your cheek and Jungkook looked at you curiously, asking you what it was from.

You smiled and told him it was a surprise; he smiling back and licking his thumb before trying to rub the marker off your face.

"Eww! Stop!" You exclaimed in disgust; wincing and he smiling even wider as you tried to run away before he chased after you.

Jungkook was very happy with his school year and how it had been going... but he soon realized that this happiness would have to falter. Because there was something else hidden in his subconscious that he knew he needed to think about but hadn't until he realized the soccer season was over.

It had been pushed to the back of everything else. But the school year was practically half over, and now... Jungkook realized he needed to be thinking about it.

And he needed to figure out how he was going to tell you.

"Jungkook," You piped up at lunch one day, pulling him out of his thoughts, "You OK?"

He blinked slightly before looking at you and nodding.

"I am OK."

"Just nervous?" You asked, arching an eyebrow his way, "About the game tonight?"

"Oh please, he isn't nervous," Sam scoffed, rolling his eyes. "He's the best player and he knows it. He doesn't have to be nervous."

You looked at Jungkook questioningly who still seemed to be in his own world as he stared blankly at his own lunch.

"Jungkook?"

You snapped your fingers in front of his face to gain his attention, he looking up quickly and giving you a reassuring smile.

"I'm fine, (Y/N)."

You had no choice but to believe him even though you could tell his mind was heavy with thoughts. Thoughts that may have been too heavy for you to bear. He slightly exhaled through his nose before biting on his lower lip and turning his head away from you.

You looked at him in slight worry. He felt your gaze and made eye contact before reassuringly pulling you into a warm hug; turning back around so he could wrap his arms around you and lean into your neck. Sam rolled his eyes while watching the exchange as you lightly ran your fingers through his hair; confused as to why he suddenly got so touchy and down in the dumps.

Jungkook released a sort of rumbling groan of pleasure as he nuzzled into you and felt your pleasing touch. Sam wiggled his eyebrows at the sound and you slightly kicked his leg; glaring at him.

"Everyone can get nervous and stressed," You informed Sam; blushing and pointedly continuing to glare at him as you comfortingly held your friend who was latching onto you and rocking slightly in your arms. "Are you sure you're OK Kook?"

"Yes." He breathed out, pulling away from you with a smile on his face. "Thank you."

Sam rolled his eyes before slightly looking at Emily who had been doing some homework. She looked up and arched an eyebrow at his gaze.
