He woke up the next morning feeling more tired than usual. He'd spent hours thinking about Zangling after he left, and even more thinking about what he'd said before his mysterious departure.
'You are a very cute person, Park Jimin. we will meet again.'
"How did he even know my name!?" Jimin shouted.
His frustrated pondering was interrupted by a door opening. To be specific, his door. He turned to see Jin standing in the doorway, leaning against the door with one hand on the handle. He looked cool, just as he did in the fashion magazine he featured in. Actually, he looked like he was posing right then.
He blushed in embarrassment. "Sorry for waking you, Jin-appa..." he mumbled, looking down.
Jin's expression became kind. "That's alright. I was awake anyway. Do you want to talk about what's troubling you?" he asked.
Jimin paused and thought about it. 'It's not like anyone would believe me...' he thought sadly.
"Not really..." he muttered his answer. "You wouldn't..."
The 'universally handsome' university student stepped into the room and closed the door. "What wouldn't I?" he asked quietly. "You can tell me, Chim Chim."
Jimin smiled momentarily at the nickname, but his expression fell again. "You wouldn't believe me, Jin-appa..."
The older hugged him warmly. "Chim Chim, Namjoon and I are here for you. We adopted you, and that means that you're our son, even if one of us would have to have been female and about five years old to have given birth to you."
"That sounds so wrong," Jimin laughed forlornly.
Jin laughed as well. "I know, but it's the truth." His face shifted into seriousness. "Chim Chim, if I was a five-year-old girl and I knew that I would give birth to such an amazing child, I would go through with it, because you are amazing, even if you don't think it. That means that when you're sad, we know it because you're our child at heart and we love you."
The orange-haired teen blushed and leaned into Jin's comforting embrace. "Thanks, Jin-appa... It still sounds wrong though!"
The older smiled at the cute fluffball and ruffled his hair playfully. "You don't have to say anything about whatever is bothering you, Chim Chim, but I'm here for you, and so is Namjoon, even if he doesn't let you have jams."
Jimin pouted. "But why?"
"Chim Chim, you're allergic," Jin said with a chastising look. "We're just worried about you."
The younger smiled. "Thank you for worrying, appa."
Seeing that the pick-me-up chat worked, Jin released him from the hug. "Now remember," he began. "You've got school today. I'm not letting you pretend to be sick!"
The younger laughed. "I know, appa, I know! I'll get ready on time."
"Good," Jin grinned, sensing that Jimin wasn't going to say what had been bothering him earlier. "I've got to get ready as well now, but breakfast will be ready in half an hour."
Jimin's smile widened. "Thanks, appa."
"You're welcome."

Afternoon arrived, and Jimin checked his watch. It was time to go to his club.
He went to his locker and stuffed his school things inside, closed it and walked off. While other clubs did boring things like writing, debating and school things like being the class president or student council president, his club was cooler and a bit more exclusive.
The orange-haired teen was in a little club with five other people, which they jokingly called BTS.
Namjoon, who was a graduate of the school, offered to 'keep an eye on the group', with Jin and their uni friend, Hoseok, often accompanying. Together with two other students, another eleventh grader, Taehyung, and a tenth grader, Jungkook, they made up the club. They weren't too serious, but they tended to hang out, compose some songs, make choreography and the occasional video and even performed in the school's auditorium. That was why they were so popular. That, and the fact that Jin was a famous model in one of the most well-known fashion magazines, with the other five also making occasional appearances.
Yes, they had a lot going for them.
But Jimin was the most popular. Mainly because everyone knew that Jin and Namjoon were dating, Hoseok always talked about a girl he liked at uni and Jungkook and Taehyung behaved like they were head over heels - which they were.
And they didn't know it. They were so. Dang. Oblivious. It made Jimin want to rip his hair out or push their faces together when they leaned closer to each other to talk.
So that obviously left Jimin, the only uninvolved member of the group. The only reason Jimin hadn't had students following him around the last couple of days was that the new student's arrival had distracted them. He hoped that would continue.
Opening the door of his club room, he stepped inside.
