The next morning, Jimin awoke, feeling lighter and happier. Finally, someone knew about Zangling. He hadn't voiced his suspicions about Min Yoongi since he wasn't quite sure, but he had decided to watch him for any... strange behaviours.

So, he went to school and sat with Jungkook, Taehyung and Yoongi at lunchtime, and while he chatted with the lovebirds, he discreetly watched Yoongi out of the corner of his eyes.

Afternoon came, and he finally went to the clubroom. Hoseok attempted to imitate a koala by using Jimin as a convenient tree to hug, almost bowling him over while he shouted, "JIMINIE~ IT'S ALMOST TIME~!!!"

Hanging onto the door desperately, Jimin gasped, "That's nice, but could you..." he gestured with one hand to Hoseok. The uni student blinked up at him for a moment and then got back on his own feet.

"IT'S ALMOST TIME~!!!" he shouted again, squealing and jumping around joyously.

Jimin banged his head on the door. Hoseok was happy, the life and soul of their club, but there were a few times where he became a little too energetic. Like this.

A few minutes later, after some idle chit-chat, they got to work, working out the stage arrangements, light placements, choreography and even the flowers that Hoseok was going to order.

"What about red roses?" Jin suggested practically. "They mean love and passion."

"I don't know..." Hoseok murmured. "Is there something with a deeper meaning? I love her so much that I want to marry her!"

There was a stunned silence for a moment. "... Are you sure about that this early?" Yoongi asked, the only person in the room willing to crush Hoseok's dreams for the sake of his feelings.

"Yes," Hoseok answered earnestly. "I've never been more serious about anything. I know it looks spontaneous, but Jun-deok was my childhood friend. We didn't go to the same high school, but we met again six months ago, and I fell for her."

Taehyung and Jungkook 'aww'ed loudly at the cute story, while Jimin grinned, happy that his friend might have such a romantic story to tell his children.

He set his attention back on Yoongi and observed him. While everyone else was grinning happily, he stared around piercingly at each of them. It was strange and slightly unsettling, as though he was reading their minds.

Jimin's brow creased. He couldn't be, though. He was completely different from Zangling, his personality, his tone of voice; it was all different. All wrong. Yoongi couldn't be Zangling. And that only left the possibility that he was assessing them, analysing them, trying to find who was most vulnerable.

As though he had flipped some magical switch, Yoongi's eyes settled on him. And then he approached. Jimin panicked, even as he kept his expression friendly. Had he been selected as the most vulnerable? Was that why Yoongi tried to talk to him sometimes? Was that why he chased Jimin down the corridor the other day while he was avoiding everything?

Jimin didn't know, but he stayed alert, watching Yoongi for any slip-ups. The mint-head made it over to his side of the room without acting abnormally, though, and Jimin had nothing for his observations.

"It's cute, isn't it?" Jimin nodded at Hoseok. Perhaps in conversation, he would slip up and say something.

"I guess," the mint-head agreed. "I can't say, though. I don't care about that sort of thing. Stereotypes are boring."

Jimin nodded slowly. "Really? What if I'm a stereotype?" he asked, fighting down a blush as he realised his boldness. 'Agh! I can't do this!'

Yoongi turned his piercing eyes onto him, a hint of a smirk in their depths. "Then I wouldn't be talking to you."

For a moment, Jimin couldn't believe what he heard. It was such a blunt statement that he had to stop and comprehend for a moment. "What?"

'Is this villain flirting with me!?'

His expression didn't change, but Jimin got the impression that his sunbae was smirking more. He huffed in irritation and turned away. It wouldn't do to let himself be flattered by such words anyway.

He glanced at Yoongi and his piercing eyes, and then away again, steeling his resolve. He would get to the bottom of this.
