Niall smiled into our kiss then quickly pulled me closer, his arms still around my waist.
What started out soft and sweet quickly became more intense and I began to feel like we were on display. I think Niall nearly read my mind because he broke the kiss, grabbed my hand, leaned in and whispered in my ear, "Follow me."
I did just that. Because he was still holding my hand, he was guiding me. As we walked I scanned the room, seeing a few faces I recognized. This doesn't feel real.
We passed Harry and Zayn who both gave us the most knowing of glances. I felt my cheeks grow bright red. I've never even met Zayn before but now he recognizes me as the girl hooking up with Niall. Not that that's what's happening. I'm not usually fast with boys. But it sure had to look like that and who could blame them for assuming?
On the other hand, I don't really care all that much. People assuming I'm easy doesn't actually make it true so why should it matter?
Niall led me into one of the private rooms that was basically just a small, dimly lit area holding a couch. The entrance to it was a black curtain that covered a little over half of the doorway.
Once we were past the curtain, Niall turned back towards me and wasted no time in pressing his lips to mine again. Now that we weren't in front of prying eyes, the kisses were much more heated. I had never felt this good from a kiss before. My stomach was fluttering and my heart was pounding as I moved my hands from around the back of his neck to his chest.
Niall used his body to pin me to the wall as we kept kissing. I felt his hands move down from my waist to my hips but he was careful not to go any farther. My hands briefly traveled up to his hair. We were all over each other and it was so incredibly hot.
I could blame the drinking but I honestly am feeling a connection with him and I hope he feels the same. If all he wants is to sleep with me, I'll be crushed.
After making out a little longer, we finally pulled away breathless. With our faces still close and our noses nearly touching we caught our breath.
"Liv," Niall breathed, "you are a beautiful girl." He quickly touched his lips to mine one last time, so softly and sweetly.
"We should probably join the party before people start to wonder." I'm a little self conscious.
"Not that we were all that subtle when we left. But yeah, we probably should." He headed out the door, this time not holding my hand. "Let's go talk to the lads."
Harry was with Zayn still and Louis, Gemma, Calum, and a man I didn't recognize had joined him. Niall and I joined the circle. I felt so out of place. Harry knows what I'm doing here, Gemma got a brief intro, and everyone else is staring.
Calum said what was on everyone's mind. "Who are you?" He actually said it fairly politely but it was still funny.
I just laughed and Niall answered for me, basically giving the same introduction as he did earlier to Liam. "She came with Harry but..." blah blah blah.
"But it looks like she'll be leaving with Niall," Harry mumbled so quietly that I think (and hope) I'm the only one who heard him since I'm next to him. Then he gave me a cheeky grin and said just to me, "I want to talk to you later." I nodded then said hi to everyone I hadn't previously met.
I started answering questions about America, mostly about college. Well, university as they call it here. I guess that is the one thing these guys that seem to have everything won't get to experience.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw a bit of red hair and did a double take. Ed Sheeran is here! I am a huge fan of his. I guess he and Harry are supposedly good friends so that must be true. How do I act cool around all these celebrities? It's impossible. The last 24 hours of my life have been like a dream come true.
