THIRTEEN•.

"If you keep doing that, you'll hurt yourself" he said, watching her across the room.

She fidgeted, looking at the ground to avoid his eye contact.

"Look at me" he demanded, immediately she obeyed.

Her bright blue eyes looked so innocent compared to his dark brown ones.

She is so small, so fragile.

A burden.

"Why do you keep coming back to me?" He asked, leaning against his head on the cement wall.

The smell of garbage suffocated the alleyway. Cat cries and mice scurrying around.

She yelped when one of the mice ran past her foot. He however, stepped on the mice's tail. Damaging it.

"Answer me" he growled, getting pissed off.

"I-I" She began but then shut her mouth.

He raised his eyebrow, waiting for her answer. Clearly not amused.

She saw the look on his face, she took a deep breath and began.

"That night, you could have left me. You could have let that man have his ways with me, but you didn't."

"You're a good person, what everyone says about you is bull."

The look in her eyes showed that she wasn't fucking around.

The bright blue eyes she once had somehow darkened, her innocence aura faded and a strong scowl fixated upon her face.

"I'm going to let everyone know that your a good person."

He couldn't help but chuckle. Him a good person? She barely knew him.

"What if I'm not a good person?" He asked, testing her determination.

She gave him a mischievous grin, one that he would have never imagined her doing.

"I guess we will just have to find out"
