My eyes open. I sit up and see I am in ballroom.

'Right I am at beacon'

I am one of the first ones up. Popping up I head over to get my morning routine done.

I finish and go eat some bacon and eggs. Now it's time to go meet my favorite thing in the whole world. My weapon. I head to the room that stores everyone's weapons, and I walk in to see the faunus from last night.

'oh no. I never asked her name'

I walk up to her.

"Hey, morning." I say to her.

"Good morning"

"I forgot to ask you last night. What your name?"

"Oh um.. it's Blossom."

"Cute. Mine is (y/n). What weapon do you have."

"O-oh. It's a spear thing that shoots out darts."

"Neat I have a robotic arm. It shoots out pellets filled with dust or just dust. I have goggles that helps track and focus on targets as well. "

"T-that seems really strong"

"Just wait you'll see a whole new side of me today"

"Right. Well. Shouldn't we be going."

"Oh yeah go on, I just need to get my weapon"

"OK"

I begin to open my locker and remove the arm. I press a few buttons and my current arm detaches. I grab my attack arm and hold it to my shoulder. I am satisfied as I hear it beep to life. I grab my goggles and put them on my head.

'I am ready'

"For years, you have trained to become warriors, and today, your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest." The headmaster said

"Now, I'm sure many of you have heard rumors about the assignment of "teams". Well, allow us to put an end to your confusion. Each of you will be given teammates... today. "The mystic woman announces

"These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon. So it is in your best interest to be paired with someone with whom you can work well." The headmaster continues.

"That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next four years." He says bluntly

"After you've partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest. You will meet opposition along the way. Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path... or you will die."

'and I thought he was being blunt before'

"You will be monitored and graded through the duration of you initiation, but our instructors will not intervene. You will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics. Each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff. We will reguard that item, as well as your standing, and grade you appropriately. Are there any questions?"

A blonde haired nervous boy raises his hand.

" Yeah, um, sir? " he said.

" Good! Now, take you positions." the headmaster said uncaring of the boy's concerns.

Everyone gets ready while the blonde kid is still raising his hand.

" Uh, sir? I've got, um... a question." he says weakly as the platforms start launching everyone person by person

" So, this landing... strategy thing... Uh, wha-what is it? You're, like, dropping us off or something?"

"No. You will be falling." The headmaster responds.

"Oh, uh, I see... So, like, did you hand out parachutes for us?"

"No. you will be using your own 'landing strategy'."

"Uh-huh... Yeah."

I look to my left and see a bright yellow haired girl put aviators on and as she flies says 'Woo-hooooooo!'.

'My turn'

I take a Deep breath and my platform releases sending me flying.
