Professor Peach has asked all of you to collect samples from the trees deep inside this forest, and I'm here to make sure none of you die while doing so." Glynda says to the class. "Let's go team" I begin walking in a random direction. We stop after a while and take out our taps. We each insert it in a tree.

"What does this have to do with becoming a huntsman again." Aegis said annoyed.

"I am sure there is a reason Aegis." Kamui says trying to reason with him.

"Maybe it is to learn to be okay with the boring tasks. After all being a Hunstman isn't always the most exciting job." I said

Blossom and Kamui managed to get some sap. Me and aegis aren't so lucky.

"How do you do this sis."

"Let me see that Aegis. You need to learn to do things without me.."

"What's wrong."

"Nothing is coming out."

"Ah-ha it wasn't me."

"Hey, mine doesn't have any sap to." I say to my team.

"Why don't you and Aegis go deeper." Blossom suggests.

"Yeah come on boss." He starts walking

I sigh and trail behind him. He stops without warning making me bumb into him.

"Why did you stop."

"I feel something."

"Let's call our team."

"No they are not there anymore. We are on our own"

" How do you know this. It's my semblance. I thought Kamui told you. I can sense her and she can do the same with me."

"Well can't you send her a message."

"Sorry boss. That's out of my skill set."

Taking us by surprise the thing attacks us. This sends us into a clearing of sorts. It's an Ursa. Easy as pie. I ran at it ready to send an exploding fist. But it moves faster than I anticipated causing me to get knocked back. The Grimm immediatly goes offensive charging at me. I try to move my right arm to block but I am unable to. He must have broken my arm. I close my eyes. I felt nothing but wind and I open my eyes to see I am in Aegis' arms. He stops behind a tree and sets me down.

"What happened Boss."

"He broke my left arm and I left my tools at beacon."

"What do we do then."

"It's best we finish the Ursa with one blow, as the more damage it takes the stronger it will fight."

"I got a move that can deal with that thing no problems. Well except one. I need time. So if you could maybe..."

"Okay... Let's do this."

I sprint a few trees away and call out to the Ursa. I rushes at me like I expected. I slide below its legs and keep my direction. It skids to a stop and turns to run at me again. I keep dodging but he is slowly catching up to me.

"Hey! Are you almost done. I can't keep this up."

"Yes! Just lead him towards me."

I duck under his paw and do as Aegis said and run to him.

"Move, Now!"

I push as hard as I can to the left, and good thing to. He shoots a massive bullet from his sniper. This leaves a huge hole in the Grimm. The Ursa collapses and starts to fade. I fall to the ground as well. Urk... Why do I always exert myself.

"That was some great teamwork."

"WHAT!? You did nothing. I was the one doing the heavy lifting. It was hardly a team effort."

"But I was the one who killed that thing."

"Only because of me."

"You keep telling yourself that."

"You infuriate me."

He walks over to me and gives a sincere smile.

"I am just teasing. You did good work."

"Hmph." I turn away from him

"No need to be so angry boss."

He picks me up resulting in a yelp from me.

"Now let's head back it's almost 4:00"

"We are here teach." Aegis said.

"Good. Now why are you holding a beaten up (y/l/n)?"

I am so embarrassed I look at the faces of my classmates. They all look worried except for Team CRDL and Weiss. Weiss looks angry and glares at Aegis.

"We ran into an Ursa miss."

"It was very dangerous to fight it on your own. Remeber to contact me if this situation happens again. Let's go class"

"Can you put me down now."

"You got it (y/n)."

"You called me by my actual name, Aegis."

"Yeah well-"

"Are you okay (y/n)" Blossom said looking worried.

"I am fine Blossom."

"Next time you think about doing somthing dangerous."

"I know, I won't"

"No I was going to say take me." She smiles innocently at me.

"Aww. You are too cute." I give her a tight hug and release her.

"Hey! Aegis!" Weiss exclaims.

"What's up Ice Queen."

"I can't believe you are so weak that you let (y/n) handle it all."

"Hey I helped"

"Well it was clearly not enough." Weiss said and walked off

"Looks like Weiss loves you back." Kamui whispers to me.
