Chapter thirteen

It had offically been 6 months.

I took some time to think about the commitment we would be making to each other.

And I realized how much I loved him.

so I hired a wedding planner and told her all about me and Jahseh.

I told her what flowers we wanted,venue,colors...to how many people to invite and who.

"You take care of the dress and i'll take care of the rest."

so that's what I was doing, standing in the middle of David's Bridal.

I picked up a two piece dress and showed it to my mom. "How about this mama?"

"No! My daughter won't be looking like a hoe on her wedding day!" she took the dress from me and hung it back on the rack.

"Mama!" I scolded her but she waved me off.

Rhea came over, she also flew out to come help me find a dress and her bridesmaid dress.

"Girl look at these dresses...so pretty..." she showed me two dresses. "I'll try those on."

She nodded taking them to the dressing room.

My phone buzzed.

It was a text from Jahseh.

J-any luck babe?

I sat down...

N- Find a few to try on. My mama so picky tho.

J- remember it's your day tho.

I laughed...he was right.

I went and picked up that two piece wedding dress and looked at it.

My mama came back, a few dresses in hand.

"Do you really like that?" My mama asked.

"Yeah...it's cute."

My mama grabbed it.

"Let's go try it on then huh?"

I smiled and walked to the dressing room with mama.

When I tried on the dress, I was almost in tears..

it was perfect...
