MACKENZIE ZIEGLER applied her purple lipgloss carefully, wiping away the tiny smudge of lipgloss away with a tissue. she had been invited (everyone had been) to lexi drew's party of the year, and every year, the theme was purple. it hadn't been requested in the invitation, but everyone did it anyway. why? blame lexi's girlfriend.

mackenzie gave the outfit a once over, which was a lilac top, high-waisted jean shorts and fishnet tights, paired with lilac converse, her hair curled and splayed over her shoulders. a slightly strange combination, but it looked good, and that's all that mattered.

turning off her phone, mackenzie sighed. she'll have to face queen bitchy of bitchyness, and she was not looking forward to it. whatever, she sighed internally. at least johnny will be at the party. and she might feel better humiliating him by screaming her head off at him.

oh boy, she isn't going to like what she will find.
