The sweet smell of sugar and cream, mixed with your
aroma of strong coffee. As the steam rose, so did your eyes until they met my coffee ones.
Your curls resembled the dark beans, the flecks in your eyes the freshly ground granules.
As your chest peeked out at me through your loose button, the coffee wasn't the only thing that was hot.
I took a sip and all I could taste was the raw emotion radiating off of you.
Radiating off of me.
Radiating off of us.The kisses you left down my neck were wet and sticky and your hands had remnants of what you had earlier.
Your long, slender fingers tickled my neck as you ran your hands through my hair.
But the bell above the door rang and we pulled apart in the blink of an eye.
Without even turning back, you grabbed your cup and left me smiling at your retreating figure.
Waiting eagerly for our coffee shop love to return.
I was inspired to write this after I had a strong urge for coffee and I was kinda thinking about those romantic coffee shop scenes in the movies.
I stopped drinking coffee in the summer bcuz of health issues, now I want it back. :(
