I'm sorry I haven't been updating- I've had no motivation. I'm still going to have irregular updates, so please don't get your hopes up ;(

I hope you enjoy the update

I sighed and grabbed onto Clint, ignoring his yell of protest and focusing on transporting us to a bathroom near the top of the New York Times tower. We stumbled from the shadow of a fake fern in a pot, Clint rubbing his temples in pain.

"Wow, that's really not a nice way to travel." He muttered finally.

"It gets a bit easier... sort of. At least that's what my cousin says." I reply, getting my balance by holding onto the bathroom sink. Shadow travelling so soon after a battle really wasn't a good idea. "Trust me, it's worse having to do it yourself. Being a passenger is only.... mildly unpleasant."

"I sure as hell believe you, Di Angelo." Clint sighed and gestured to the door. "So where next? How do we get up to Helios' 'castle in the sky'?"

I grimaced slightly. "I'm pretty sure, if we can get to the roof, we can summon him down. In theory, at least."

Clint raised an eyebrow." And if it doesn't work, or if we're caught?"

"We improvise."

We headed out of the bathroom and started walking towards an elevator. Thankfully, we were able to access the roof, which was used as a landing pad. Apparently, news sites needed helicopters now.

There was a young girl in the elevator who seemed to recognise Clint, but he just smiled at her and told her to keep quiet. That seemed to do the trick, and she left with a small wave when she got to her floor.

The elevator hit the top floor, and we got out to a spacious deck with a large helicopter taking up most of it. There was room for a walkway around the machine, with a meeting area up the back. We moved as a unit to a blank part, and then Clint turned to me.

"How are you supposed to summon him? Draw a pentagram or somethin'?" He smiled incredulously.

"Nope. But I actually did a little favour a while back for my father, though I didn't know why at the time. Hopefully, now it'll come in handy." Nico smiled devilishly and brought a large piece of golden pottery out from his shadow vault.

"Sorry, what's that?" Clint looked calculatingly at the broken pottery.

"Oh, just a piece of Helios's golden cup that he lent Heracules back in ancient times. It was a real pain to find this, but I think it's been put to good use." I say, smiling at Clint's slightly incredulous look as I held the pottery up to the light.

Suddenly a huge burst of bright light pulsed ahead of them, causing the two to make an involuntary step back. When I was able to look, he saw a sun-kissed man with chocolate brown hair, hazel eyes and a handsome, chiselled face.

I got on one knee and then bowed to the titan. I motioned for Clint to do the same, and thankfully he obliged.

"Oh, Nico, right. Doom and glooms kid. I think you got something of mine?"

"Well, before you can have it, I wanted to know something," Nico replied, getting back up and staring at the god in the eye.

"It's always like that with you heroes, you can never do anything without a reward at the end." He grumbled.

"Well, it's not like the gods... or titans in your case, are any better."

"Touche, now, what would you like to know? I don't have much time here, an enchantress is holding most of my conscious captive."

Clint raised an eyebrow and made a signal to ask what that was about. Of course, Nico didn't know, but there were more important things to discuss. "Did you see where William Solace went after he was captured?"

Helios smiled. "Ah, yes, Apollo's son. He was taken to somewhere in Vegas. But my vision was kind of blurry after that, so I don't know whereabouts."

Clint frowned when Nico visibly tensed. Nico hated Vegas.

"Right, thanks," Nico muttered and handed over the pottery, which the titan held gingerly and disappeared again into the sky.

"What was that about?" Clint folded his arms.

"I have no idea what you are talking about." Nico looked back with a blank expression but refusing to meet the other man's eyes.

"What have you got against Vegas?"

"Nothing. Now, let's get back." Nico changed the subject and held out his hand for Clint to hold.

Clint was not convinced, but he went along with it. "Fine, fine. But let me brace for it this time, don't want to almost puke my guts out again."

"Hurry up, then," Nico replied irritably.

When they arrived back at the tower, everyone was having breakfast. Bruce almost jumped out of his skin when the two of them appeared right next to him.

"Where have you both been?" Natasha questioned, a little accusingly.

Clint smirked. "Oh, you know. Here, there, around."

"Since when have you two been best buddies?" Tony addressed Clint.

"Since never." Nico gave an inkling of a smile. "Now, we got a lead on where Will is, can we go check it out?"

"Woah, Woah, slow down kid. What happened? How did you get the lead?" Steve said, trying to be the leader.

"Let's just say I called in a favour, and he told me that he saw William being taken towards Vegas," Nico smirked.

"Vegas? Fantastic." Tony rubbed his hands together. "I'll go get the jet ready."

Clint laughed. "Everyone pack your bags, we're going to the party city!"
