Stranded

~Thirty~

I took a deep breath and exhaled slowly "I promise you Aiden" I paused tears forming in my eyes "I did not feel anything from that kiss with him" I whispered into the phone

"Em what are you talking about?" he asked sounding terrified 

"Aiden" I whispered "Ryan, h-he" I stoped and felt two hands fall onto my shoulders, I looked at Lizz and Kat as they nodded in a encouraging manner

"I-I was waiting for Lizzie and Kat at Albert's dinner when Ryan came in, he wouldn't stop looking at me and eventually came to sit next to me, after I told h-him not to" I stoped wiping away a fallen tear

"After a few minutes had passed they showed up and found me with Ryan. Lizzie and Kat tried to push him away but he wouldn't go, Albert showed and he got him to l-leave" I look straight a head of me, staring at the wall as if it was the most satisfying thing on Earth "After we were done at Albert's we walked to the car, I was a head of them an-and" I wince at the memory of him pulling me to the alleyway. "Ryan was in a ally way and had pulled me into it and..he...kissed me" I whispered the last two words 

The line went silent as I waited for his reaction, confused I asked "Aiden?"

A female voice came after "I'm sorry the person you are trying to reach is unavailable at this time try again later" and with that there was silence from his end. I pulled away the phone from my ear and the tears I was holding back, where now all over Kats shirt

"Emmy what happened?" Kat asked softly

"T-the line" I sniffled "it just went dead" I said and cried into Kat harder, "Oh Emmy" Lizz whispered softly stroking my hair

Suddenly a loud bang came from the downstairs, and a very angry groan came from outside my bedroom door, Aiden soon walked into my room

He was breathing heavily and his clothing was soaked with sweat, he watched me with darkness in his eyes, as if he was ready to kill

Which he probably was

"Aiden?" I asked, removing myself from Kat and Lizz's grasp and slowly walked towards him with caution 

Anger, sadness, hurt, betrayal, worry were all the emotions in his beautiful blue eyes. "Why didn't you call me as soon as it happened?" he asked his voice dripping with anger, I looked to the ground only for him to raise my head up with his fingers gripping my chin

"I-I didn't know how" I whispered looking anywhere but his eyes. "Em" he whispered, his eyes immediately caught mine "You can always talk to me, you know that" he said, the anger still there

I sighed "I know, I just didn't want you to go and beat the crap out of him, although he deserves it, I just didn't want violence" I said and Aiden sighed

He was about to speak when my phone dinged, Lizzie picked up my phone and frowned looking up at me "Its that unknown person" she said, catching Aiden's attention

"Unknown person?" he asked and I nodded, I grabbed my phone from Lizz, showing him the message from before 

My nerves caught up to me as his eyes re-read the message over and over again, scanning the picture as if it was a priceless piece of art

"Who sent this?" he asked angry

I shook my head "I don't know, this is first time this person has texted me" I said truthfully as Aiden nodded his head in understanding "Y-you didn't kiss him back, right?" he asked and I widen my eyes and mouth agape at his words

"Of course I didn't" I said as Kat butted in "She slapped him across the face and practically told him to piss the fuck off" 

Lizz came in "Not to mention she defended the hell out of you, after Ryan was dissing you" she said and I turned to look at her and gave her a sad smile   

I rubbed my temples as Aiden was still looking at my phone, I turn to Lizz and Kat "who do you think it could be?" asked Kat and I sighed

"I don't know, but" I paused taking my phone from Aiden and looking at the picture in disgust "Ryan kissed me, so therefore it must be someone who is close to him or something" I said plugging in my phone due to low battery 

"Thats true, it has to be someone that Ryan has been talking to for a while now, and to be honest I don't think its one of the guys" Said Aiden and I froze 

What if the person was Abby?

That would make sense, since Him and Abby were talking a lot on the boat and Island, Not to mention they would talk at school more than they ever have. It could be possible

I turned to Aiden "Abby" I whispered and he furrowed his eyebrows "what about her?" he asked and I realized I never told Aiden about seeing Abby and Ryan talking on the island, and Abby hitting Ryan. The one night I found them talking wasn't the only time on the island either, a few nights before we left the island I over heard them talking about their 'boss' and who they were 'working for'

What ever that means

"Aiden I never told you this on the island, but I saw Abby and Ryan talking about something while everyone was sleeping, I can't remember what it was but something about a 'she' and 'their boss' or they working for someone named 'J'" I said and he furrowed his brows 

"This is extremely juicy" said Kat and we all rolled our eyes

"What?" she asked "Its not my fault Em's life has turned into a cliché romance novel" she defended

I scoffed "It has not become a cliché romance novel" I defended "It's just" I hesitated on finding the right words "..taken a really dramatic turn" I stated running my hand through my hair

"A dramatic cliché" whispered Kat tapping her fore finger on her chin "Kat shut the hell up would you" said Lizz, frustration in her voice "Ugh Lizz your just mad that I beat you at telling jokes" sighed Kat

"I am not!" defended Lizz 

"Yes you are" said Kat sitting on my window seat

"Am not

"Are too" 

I turned back to Aiden as they continued bickering, he chuckled and looked at me, all anger and sadness gone from his eyes, but a little fear still there

"So" he started taking my hand in his "So" I repeated smiling up at him, which he returned 

"You didn't feel anything about that-" before he could finish his sentence I cut him off by planting a kiss on his plump lips

"No" I said shaking my head as we pulled apart "I did not, and I repeat did not feel anything about that kiss with Ryan" I said trying to reassure him

He was looking anywhere but my eyes, clearly not believing me 

I sighed and took his chin with my thumb and fingers to make him face me. "Aiden" I paused, standing on my tippy toes looking him straight in the eyes "I didn't feel a single spark of energy when he kissed me, you kiss me with passion, adventure, care, and a whole lot of energy in every kiss. That kiss with him" I paused pointing as if Ryan was standing right next to us "Felt nothing like they way you kiss me" I said holding his face in my hands

He smiled placing both his hands on either side of my waist and kissed me with every bone in his body

As we pulled apart he spoke low "You drive me fucking crazy" 

I let out a low laugh "I know" I whispered

We were cut off by a female voice "Oh my fucking God you guys are so cute, and I hate you so much for making me and Lizz third wheel" said Kat

Aiden and I rolled our eyes and laughed

I looked up at Aiden as he continued to laugh along with Lizz and Kat, wondering how I got so lucky to have such a caring and loving boyfriend in my life. Holding my books for me, Walking me to my class, Making me breathless just by smiling, kissing me like I'm his air, and treating me like I'm gold. We may have fights and disagree on things sometimes but in the end we always come back to each other
