Aiden's POV
"Ready?" asked Mr Thompson, I nodded
He pulled open the door and curtains to reveal a sleeping Emmalyn, but there were tubes and IV's in her arm and nose, as well as an oxygen mask on her mouth
"Jesus" I mumbled walking towards her limp body
I watch as her heart beat was slow and some what steady, the cut on her arm stitched up but a little blood still coming out
Tears started to pool in my eyes at the sight of her
I will find Jake and give him a piece of my mind
"The important thing is she's not giving up and she's stable" said Mr Thompson
"Good" I said and sat down in the chair to give my blood
I would give her all my blood if it meant she could live again
"Ready?" asked the nurse, I nodded
The feeling of the needle going into my arm felt weird and it hurt a little but I just kept my focus on Emmalyn
She lied to you, what are you doin-
Shut up, I tell the voice in my head. I'm helping her, I'll do anything
"Let me know when you get dizzy" she said and I nodded
It was about 17 minutes later and we were done, They took the bag half full of my blood and hooked it to Emmalyn
"Okay young man, it will take a while, why don't you go home and rest you've been here since 9:45pm it's now 5:30am" she said
"No um can I stay here a while?" I asked and she sighed "alright, 10 minutes" she said and walked out
I took the chair and pulled it to he bedside, holding her hand
"Em?" I asked but there was no response
"Please you need to wake up, okay we can leave things the way we did" I said and watched the blood slide down the tube and into her arm
I sighed "Come on Munchkin" I said kissing her hand
"Y-you have to be there at the game, its the final game of the season. You need to watch me score" I said smiling tears falling down my cheeks
I place my head down next to our intertwined hands "Please"
"Aiden?" I look up hoping it was Emmalyn but it wasn't it was Mr Thompson
"Come on Aiden go home and get some rest" he said griping my shoulders
I nodded "Okay" I said and stood up, still holding her hand
"I'll find him" I whispered to her and kissed her cheek

I walk in hoping to head to my room to grab clothing and supplies to help me find Jake but I found my dad reading the paper "Your home, Finally" he said
