I earned it...

"We all know the correct path right?" Cato asks us as we finished piling on the dirt on top of the last land-mine. We nod "Ok everyone here except Brains go check on those traps each of us set up" Cato instructs "Brains stay here and gaurd the supply mountain" Cato instructs the small 14 year old boy. He gulps and nods shakily "Move out and meet here as usual once you check the traps" Cato said once more before we split up. I put two knives in each each boot and four on my belt and I attatched three spears to my back while holding one in my right hand while I set off. I started on my way to the trap I set up near that flower field when I noticed the girl from seven swiftly moving behind trees I smirked and hid behind oone of the trees and got a knife in my hand since I didn't want to waste my perfectly good spears on such an unworthy opponent. When sahe ran by I tripped her stabbing her shoulder and leaving her on the ground groaning in pain I snatched the knife out of her shoulder since she could later as a weapon and put the bloody knife on my boot and continued on my way to the Flower Field net. When I arrived I noticed nothing was trapped until I noticed the small girl from 11 skipping in the flower field humming I felt llike shouting at her not to go any further but realized my parents would see it and think I'm nothing but a softy. But she was so cute her big haze eyes. And dark hair with high cheek bones and the perfectly toned dark skin. While realizing what a cute 12 year old she is she got trapped I sank my hand deep into the knife producing blood I watched her from behind the tree while she started screaming "Katniss, Katniss, Katniss" Then a thought hit me Everdeen will come for her. I'll kill Everdeen and free the small girl and hopefully someone else will kill her so I don't have to. Maybe I'm not as stupid as we all thought. And just as planned Everdeen emerged from the trees sprinting she was trying to calm down the small girl while cutting the ropes. I came out and crouched down throwing the spoear. Everdeen ducked so my spear struck the smalls girl stomach Everdeen came up quick so I couldn't think and reach for one of my spears and she qquickly shot an arrow impaling my neck. I fell frantically trying to remove the arrow but deep down I knew I was losing to much blood and I;m drowning in it right now. I glanced over and saw Everdeen singing to...Rue that was her name. I heard the beeping I quickly grabbed the capsule but it was empty except a note

'We're sorry you had to die for us to realize we love you and are proud of you we're sorry Marvel~ M&F'

'I'm sorry Rue' Was a thought that flashed across my mind. But I earned it what I came here for not money nor fame but my parents affection. And now I'll be reunited with Suzy. I shut my eyes the thought 'I earned it' flashing over and over agin in my mind
