Chapter Five ~ Finally

Virgil and Roman were still blushing during the next few minutes.
"Roman, okay, you deserve an explanation, but so do I."
"I'll give you my explanation fir—"
"No, I will. I'm sorry, I didn't tell you sooner, but, well... one, I've been depressed..."
Roman put his arm around Virgil's shoulder to try to comfort him.
Virgil blushed, flustered. "And two... Sorry... I can't say this yet... tell me what you were going to say. I'm sorry."
"It's fine... well... you know we both have crushes, right?"
"Obviously."
"Well, mine is... um... well..."
Virgil sighed. It wasn't him, he bet.
Patton burst open the door, causing Virgil and Roman to jump away from each other.
"GUYSOHMYGODINEEDTOTELLYOUSOMETHINGQUICKPLEASE!!!!!"
"PATTON! YOU CAN'T JUST BARGE IN HERE!" Virgil yelled.
"I'm so sorry Virgil! It's just..." Patton paused to catch his breath. "Something happened with me and Logan..."
"What?" Virgil demanded.
"OHMYGODHEKISSEDME!" Patton yelled, blushing.
"Oh my god! I knew it!" Roman said, excited.
"YOU DID? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL MEEEE?"
"Speculation, Patton, speculation!"
"Okay..."
"Don't yell like that..." Virgil muttered.
"Sorry, Virgil!"
"Can you leave now?"
"Sure... But... What do I do?"
"I don't know. Ask Princey."
"I don't know either! Just... be nice and act like it didn't happen if he seems uncomfortable?"
"Okay... thanks... bye..." Patton said, leaving.
"I have to go too, Virgil, see you tomorrow.." Roman said, following Patton out the door.
"Bye..."
Later that night, Roman remembered he hadn't asked about the songs. Then, he heard a voice, the same one, singing a new song...
"Times been tickin', hearts are runnin',  I think that Cupid's up to somethin', you ask me how I feel, I say nothing... but lately colors seem so bright, and the stars light up the night, my feet they feel so light, I'm ignoring all the signs, I keep on frontin', yeah I stay bluffing, I keep you wondering, keep you huntin' for my lovin'... but I crave us hugging, yeah I stay stubborn, cuz I can't admit that you got all the strings and know just how to tug 'em!"
Roman left his room and approached Virgil's. He heard the voice coming from inside. Meanwhile, Patton and Logan both were doing the same thing, not within the sight of the others. The song continued.
"I think I'm in love again!"
Roman sang along. "My head, yeah, you're in my head..."
"I think I'm in love again!"
"My head, yeah, you're in my head..."
"Oh... I didn't think it could be true, let alone that it would be you! I think I'm in love again!" Virgil walked out of his room, not seeing the rest.
"My heart's pacin', I'm confused, I'm dazing. I saw something I never see in you, it's got me shaking, I must be hallucinating. I heard it happens, I'm just saying, babe, I'm just saying."
Patton joined in, making Virgil jump. Patton was looking at Logan, though.

"Someone give me some paper! Someone give me some crayons! I'm feeling like a child, I need something to play on!"
"I'm trying hard to trust you when you say 'give me a hand', baby I'm falling, I hope you catch me when I land!"
Roman walked out into Virgil's line of sight, causing him to blush, but he kept singing. "I think I'm in love again!"
Roman smiled, walking up to him.
"I think I'm in love again.. I didn't think it could be true, let alone that it would be you! I think I'm in love again!" Virgil continued. He smiled slightly at Roman, blushing.
Logan and Patton had noticed each other by now. Logan was a blushing mess, because, of course, he had no idea how emotions work. Patton smiled and hugged Logan.

"I think I'm in love again!" Patton sang.
"I think I'm in love again!" Virgil and Roman sang, joining in.
"Oh... I didn't think it could be true, let alone that it would be you! I think I'm in love again..."
Virgil sighed, looking down. "I think I'm in love again..."
He hugged Roman, and Roman hugged back. For the first time in a while, Virgil smiled, genuinely. It felt good.
