Alfred set out energetically. He was ready to face the madness of Black Friday.

Like many Americans, Alfred was a force to be reckoned with on this fateful day. He bought most of his christmas presents today to get in on sweet deals, if there was anything Al loved, it was a good bargain (it's one of the reasons he eats at Mc Donald's so much, it's cheap).

Of course, the second Alfred woke up, he slapped on his Super Man shirt and jeans, he pulled on his winter jacket and set off into the insanity.

(Ivan's POV)

Ivan was a Russian immigrant, he moved to America about six months ago.

He didn't know about American holidays that much, so when he went to the grocery store to get some Vodka, he was surprised.

People. Everywhere. Ivan had never see so many people in a square meter.

Suddenly, someone shoved him out of the way angrily. "Move it or loose it, big guy."

Before Ivan could talk back, the person had vanished in the crowd.

Ivan was severely confused now.

American did get aggressive, but usually not this much. Ivan watched as an old woman wrestled a mom and three kids for a pack of gingerbread, what the heck was going on?

Ivan backed toward the wall, letting the bloodthirsty shoppers get to their needed items.

Finally, someone approached him, a young man with dirty blond hair and sky-blue eyes hidden behind thick framed glasses (I always imagine Alfred with big nerdy glasses).

"Yo, dude, why are you pinned on the wall?" The short man asked (compared to Ivan, Al is pretty short, sorry Alfred).

"I do not understand the violent nature of American shopping." Ivan replied.

Alfred smirked, taking in his accent. "Oh, I get it, did you just move to America?"

"Nyet, I have lived here for six months!"

Alfred laughed. "Oh, yeah, you're a pro then." Alfred said sarcastically. "Listen, I can explain outside, I need to put all this stuff in my car."

Ivan noticed the bursting bags he was holding and lifted some off the man, carrying them himself. "Better, da?"

"Much so. Thanks a million." Alfred sighed in relief. "Any who, let's go."

(Alfred's POV: ten minutes later)

The Russian nodded his head thoughtfully. "So Americans are always violent on this holiday..."

Alfred laughed nervously. "Some of us are."

"Not you, however." The Russian pointed out. "No one else helped me."

Alfred blushed, noticing Ivan's dazzling violet eyes.

"I-it's really no problem..." He mumbled.

"Nyet, I understand America much better now, I am now as you said, a 'pro'."

Alfred smirked. "You're getting there."

Ivan blushed a little. "Perhaps you could tell me of more American traditions?"

Alfred beamed. "Sure dude. Hop in my car."

"W-what?"

"We're going to my house. Talking with you is way more fun than wrestling Grandmas for christmas wrapping."

"...What?"

"Anyway, we should go, yeah?"

"Da. Lead the way."
