The next day Mike and Eleven were back to the Byers' house.

"I'm sorry to bother you again but I think we found out how to get Will back," Mike said as Joyce frantically gestured the kids inside.

"Look we fond out how Will was able to communicate with us. It has to do with the two girls El is friends with. One is lighting the lights for him and one's channeling the room to make it possible."

"Thank you two for putting in the time to figure this out."

"I want my friends back, and he wants Will back, the least I could do," Eleven spoke up.

"Now we need to inform them that we're helping out here so it will be easier in there," Mike said in a shaky voice.

Joyce nodded, "If it helps to get my boy back, go ahead. Will?"

The "YES" lights lit up.

"It's Mike, we need to tell you, we have your friends' friend Eleven with us. We're working in the mortal world to help you out. We just need to let you know."

"Oh my God yes!" Annie screamed as they got the message from Hayley.

"Tell them 'Okay, stray away from the lab,' Will said to Hayley as she channeled the room.

"A-W-A-Y," Annie lit up, "Got it!" Hayley said.

"F-R-O-M," Hayley nodded.

"L-A-B" Hayley got it.

"Away from lab?" Mike put the words together.

"I got this thank you so much, Joyce, we have to go, Mike."

Eleven grabbed his hands and pulled him away.

"Come back when you get more information!"

"We will," Eleven said as they continued back to the Wheeler's house.

The two got downstairs in the basement of Mike's house and called the other two boys.

"They know," Eleven said as they sat down.

"Well, what now?" Lucas asked.

"Find the gate," Eleven said.

"How do we do that?" Dustin asked.

El shrugged, "That's where we're confused."

"Well do you know how to open it?" Mike asked.

"Yes, but not alone, I can use Hayley and Annie to help me, once we're in agreement at the gate."

"Okay, what did the gate away from a lab have to do with it."

"You know how we were raised in a lab?"

"Yeah."

"Well, they need to get away from the lab and find another gate. That's how they are going to get out. We need to find another way to communicate with them."

"Can you communicate through the void, with Hayley?"

"I can try, go get the towel."

Mike set up the stairs to get the towel.

He sat back down with the towel as she wrapped it around her eyes.

Meanwhile, Hayley, Will, and Annie were doing the same thing.
