After the event ended, all the celebrities moved to a private room where the after party was being held. As Cher and Meryl exited, the photographers and reporters bombarded them with questions and cameras were flashing were flashing all around them. They held onto each other tightly while security pushed through the crowd so they could move. Once inside the party, they sat on a sofa trying to take in what happened inside; they came out at the Oscars.

"I can't believe what just happened, we did it. The whole world knows about us now" Meryl said

"At least we got a standing ovation" Cher said. Meryl punched her playfully and they laughed

Suddenly the got surrounded by Jennifer Aniston, Viola Davis, Jimmy Kimmel and Robert DeNiro

"Oh my God!!! That was so unexpected. I mean you two are the talk of the party tonight" said Viola. They looked at each other and grinned

"Yes!! Your already huge icons now it gets bigger. Everyone here is talking about you, don't worry we all support you, I mean who wouldn't support Meryl Streep and Cher?" said Robert

"Thank you, all of you" said Meryl

"So how is it to be Ms. Cher?" Jimmy ask with a sneaky grin

Meryl smirked and said "Oh it's a nightmare"

"Hey!! Like you're easy to live with" Cher joked then nudged Meryl. They both laugh

"I'm kidding, it's wonderful" Meryl corrected. Cher agreed, placed her arm around Meryl and kissed her on the cheek

"How come you came out now? And you are already married" Robert asked carefully

"Well like we said, we had been together long but got married last November. It's a long story; it didn't start well the talk of deciding to come out. I proposed to her in front of the Mamma Mia cast after a fight we had" Cher explained, the others went 'awed'

"No details" Meryl interrupted pointing at them "That night Don had filed for the divorce because he already figured we made up"

"On the movie premiere we had a bit of a fall out and let's just say we took a break from our relationship for a while" Cher said

"It didn't feel that way at first" Meryl said sarcastically

"Well it was a break" Cher retorted rolling her eyes at her

"Well this brings back memories" Jennifer said suddenly taking a sip of champagne. Everyone started laughing

"I was on tour in Vegas at the time we reconciled and one night I find her in my hotel room. She surprised me, it was really romantic" Cher said sweetly

"And then?" Viola said smirking

"What can I say? What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" Meryl said chuckling

"It wasn't at all disappointing, it never is" Cher blurted out giving an evil smile leaving her wife red as a tomato

"Whoa haha careful with the information there" Jimmy said

"Yes watch it!!" Meryl said making Cher laugh.

"That's really romantic; it's really brave of you to do what you did on your speeches. I'm proud" Robert said. A song started playing

"Let's go dance, excuse us everybody" Cher said and dragged Meryl to the dance floor

"You're crazy, you know that" Meryl said dancing beside Cher
