Chapter 21

Avery's Pov.

It was Wednesday and I was home alone with Adrien.

Since the photoshoot went well, Adrien decided to give us all days off from all our hard work so here am I in terms of the couch watching TV and eating a snack.

"Good morning" Stella greeted.

"Hey. Going somewhere?"I asked Stella after seeing her with a suitcase in her hands.

"Yeah, I'm going on a business trip" she replied with a sad face.

"You don't look happy," I said and she looked at Adrien, who was in the kitchen, then back at me.

"Well I didn't want to go but he---"

"You need to go" Adrien cut her off as he walked into the living room with a plate of pancakes in his hands.

"Do I really have to g--"

"Yes, no get going. The driver I waiting for you outside."

"fine!" She pouts and hugged me before leaving.

"Here," he handed me a plate with pancakes.

"Thank.....you" I took the pancakes from.

"No problem" he smiled before went back to the kitchen.

He's really acting weird these couple of days.

I turned on put on a movie and ate my pancakes.

Minutes later he came back into the living room with a plate of pancakes and sat in the opposite chair.

He's really acting weird. Every now and then I would catch him staring at me.

What is wrong with him?

*Bip Bip!*

My phone vibrated.

I turn it on to see who messages me.

Unknown: Hey Babe, how's your day?

Who the hell?

Me: who is this?

Unknown: you forgot me already?

Me: do I know you?

Unknown: yes. We did the photoshoot together.

Oh, so it's him.

"How the hell did he get my number?" I thought out loud.

"What is it?" Adrien asks.

"Uhh...it's nothing"

He gave me a suspicious look before continue typing away on his laptop.

Me: How did you get my number?

Unknown: let's just say a friend.

Ugh! Stella and Abigail!

I cut off my phone and went back to reading my book.

I was really bored.

Maybe I should go out tonight!

"Hey Adrien"

"Yeah?"

"Can we go out tonight? I'm really bored"

"Huh?.....Yeah, sure"

"Really?!" I asked surprised.

"Yeah!"

"Thank you so much!!" I squeal, jumped onto him, and hugged him.
