Chapter 23
"Welcome to Benny's ice cream shop. What would you like to order?" The shop lady asked.
"Can I have chocolate vanilla ice cream with oreo crisp inside"
I ordered.
"And you young man?"
"I'll just a strawberry ice cream"
"Okay. You lovely couple can take a seat and wait for your ice cream there" she pointed to a table.
Couples? Ehh....whatever.
I'm already used to it anyway. People just can't stop mistaking us, huh?
"Okay, thanks" I thanked her and sat down along with Adrien.
After waiting for some time our ice cream finally arrives.
"Enjoy!"
I picked up my spoon and tasted the ice cream.
It tasted delicious so I gave a delicious moan. [A/N: this sounds so weird. Delicious moan? Lol]
"This calls for a pic," I said while unlocking my phone.
"Smile," I said and brought the camera to our face.
*click!* *click!*
"Aww....look at you! You look so cute. I'm the definitely sending this to Stella"
I send the pics and later she messaged me.
Stella: Wow, you guys look like a real couple!
Me: Oh please, stop with your jokes.
Stella: I'm not joking
Me: whatever!
"So, have you enjoy yourself tonight?" Adrien asked.
"Yeah, I had fun"
*pitter-patter* [A/N: if ya don't know, it's the sound of rain]
It's raining?
"Oh no! How will we get back to the car?" I asked in horror.
The rain started to fall harder and harder and the wind blew harder.
Are we having a storm?
"Let's go," Adrien said as he got up to pay the bills.
"Don't worry, I'll pay it" I said and walk to the counter.
"*sigh* we're not doing this again. Just let me pay" he said taking out his credit card.
"But---"
"But nothing. I'll pay" he smiled and gave the shop lady his credit card.
She swiped it and gave him back it.
"Thanks for shopping, do come again" she smiles and I wave off with her before existing with Adrien.
"What are we gonna do now?" I asked hopelessly.
"We're gonna make a run for it"
"Are you kidding me? You're gonna catch a cold!" I fold my arms.
"And what about you? Aren't you gonna catch a cold too?" He asked.
"Oh...that too."
"Look, Avery, we can't stay here the entire night. Let's just do it" he tried to convince me.
But---
He's right. We can't stay here the entire night besides I'm tired.
I sigh before saying "fine, let's do it but---"
