-Clara's POV-

After breakfast, I told Rob that I'd need to leave because my flatmate would be sick of fear. " Uh... yeah sure, mind if I walk you there?", he asked the nice way he always does. "Oh, no. You've already done so much for me, you really don't need to worry about it." "I don't mind. Besides I don't want you to get hurt. It probably won't take long.", he told me seriously. "Ok then. We live in a small apartment on the town's edge.", I got my coat and we left: "Bye Granny! I'll call you when we get there!", Rob shouted over his shoulder. "Alright then! Have fun children!", she responded.

Ping! The elevator reached our story. I smiled at Rob. I just realised I hadn't told him that my flatmate's female, the way he talked about 'him' was too funny. Luckily we hadn't encountered Sam on the way. I had felt Rob's hand on mine for a second, but maybe it had only been my imagination. I knocked at the door with the signal me and my flatmate had decided on. Yeah, she's into that kinda stuff. I heard some rumbling inside and a faint: "Wait a second!", from the back. Rob lifted his eyebrows in amusement. Then there were hurried steps and the door flew open. "Clara! I was worried sick! What happened? Come here you, Puffelmuffs!", the girl in the slightly too big grey hoodie lifted me up while hugging me, like she always does. She let me back down and hugged me normally. "Puffelmuffs?", Rob said dumbfounded. Then she saw who was standing behind me. "What's Woofless doing here?", she asked after letting me go and pointing at Rob for some reason. "Did you make Waffles?", I asked confused. Sometimes she said this weird random stuff and seconds after she'd forget what she just said. "You're a fan of MrWoofless?", Rob asked with a smile. "Ok, Waffles. I like Waffles. What about them?", I stood in the middle like an idiot. What was going on? "Uh... this is Maggie. Don't mind her, she talks weird stuff sometimes." My flatmate facepalmed. "Clara. This is Rob.", she said. "Yeah, I- wait. How do you know his name?!" "Who's name?", she asked. "His name.", I pointed at Rob. "Oh, he's just an awesome YouTuber, that's all.", Maggie shrugged as if she hadn't been freaking out just a second ago. "Come in.", she waved us into our small flat. I hung up my coat in the tiny entrance way and so did Rob. "You'll have to tell me what happened exactly Puffelmuffs.", Maggie sat down on our black leather couch and got up right after Rob and I sat down. "Anyone want a cup of tea?", she asked walking into the kitchen and started to boil water. "Where did you gobble up that crazy fuzzball?", Rob whispered, pointing at the kitchen with his chin. I had to laugh. "She's great, isn't she? Back in London I joined a letter writing club. I joined the group of German learners and she was my partner on the other side, Spain." He tried to understand what I just said. "So... you wanted to learn German and in a project you got to know her because you two wrote letters to each other in German even though she's from Spain?", Rob retold everything. "Yup.", I popped the 'p'. "Oh, that's cool. But how did you end up here in Canada together in a flat?" "Well, she wrote me how in love she was with Canada, even though she doesn't know why. And I told her that I had plans of exploring the world and Canada would be a nice spot to be, too. So Maggie came up with the crazy idea of just moving together even though we've never met in person.", I finished our little story. Rob chuckled. "I can imagine the hard time finding fuzzball in the airport..." "Yeah..." "Heeeeeey, hope y'all like mint, because I don't have anything else here.", Maggie chirped on her way back from the kitchen, balancing 3 cups in her hands. "Thanks, mint's great.", Rob said, taking one of the two casual blue ones. Maggie kept her purple cup with the tiger shaped grip, fundled a little bit with her hoodie and asked: "So, where did you gobble up Woofless?" Rob and I smiled at each other at the repeated question. "Well, Sam found me...", I started, but Maggie interrupted me. "HE DID WHAT?! OH THAT LITTLE.... butt...", she said the word "butt" more silently than the others, trying to use a swearing word but don't use one at the same time. "I'LL GO AND I'LL FIND HIM AND I'LL FIND HIM SO MUCH HE'LL WISH HE'D NEVER BEEN BORN!", she screamed. Rob clinged to the couch from the sudden outburst coming from the small girl. "You done?", I asked casually and sipped on the hot tea. "Yup.", she started drinking, too. And Rob laughed a little. "Well, as I said: He found me and I kinda ran into Rob over here.", I glanced at my smirking friend. "He kinda just grabbed my hand...", I flexed my hurt left hand, "and helped me escape. Then I spent the night there, so... yeah.", I finished without a real ending, but whatever. Maggie nodded. " I was worried sick Puffelmuffs, never do that again!", she came over to me and almost suffocated me in a hug. "Ok ok, I promise." Maggie stood up and sat down next to Rob. "And you...", she started in a scolding tone. "Thank you.", she hugged dazzled Rob, too. "Uh... no problem.", he squeezed the words out of her tight grip. "Luckily Clara is small enough to hide in a cupboard.", Rob smiled at me mockingly and I punched his shoulder. "You did what?", Maggie started to laugh. "It's funny how you're both pretty small...", Rob started but Maggie interrupted him, too. "I'm not small. I'm normal sized, do you want me to get the graph? Next to Clara I look like a giant!" "No you don't! You hardly got 7 centimeters on me!", I played hurt. "I warn you, I'm gonna get the chaaaaaart...", she teased me. "What chart?!", Rob screamed so I could hear him, because Maggie was rambling about how 'great' and 'accurate' the chart is. But now she fell silent. "You don't know the chart...", she whispered. "You don't know the chart!", she reapeated, louder. "Oh god... now she's gonna get the chart....", I complained facepalming. Maggie jumped up and began to search for it in every single shelf we had in the apartment. While she was doing that, I explained to Rob: "It's a chart her mother gave to her, it shows the average growth of humans, male and female." He nodded slowly. "I think it's somewhere over here...", she entered the bathroom. I shook my head. "So... you're a YouTuber?" I changed the subject. "Uh... yeah...?", he said unsure. I laughed to make him feel better and punched his shoulder. "Ow! Why do you keep doing that?", he rubbed the place where I had already punched him twice. I pulled my legs onto the couch. "Why didn't you tell me?" "Well... most girls act... different... when they know that I'm kinda... semi-famous..." "Don't say semi, it makes you sound like Maggie. But I don't understand, why would you care that I act different around you?" Rob's cheeks reddened a little bit. "Uhm... b-because...", he took my hand. "BECAUSE I'M BATMAN!", Maggie screamed, jumping onto the couch, the two straps of her hoodie flying abut and almost making me fly onto Rob. "Ha ha, what are you guys talking about?", she began searching for the right page in the chart, a goofy smile painted on her lips. "Oh, nothing.", Rob said. "Where did you find it?" He's good at distracting Maggie. "Over in our laundry. That's normally the place Clara hides it in." She lowered her voice and continued: "But don't tell her I know, or she'll search for another hiding place." She looked up at the bathroom and shrugged. Rob and I started laughing uncontrolably and shook our heads. "Here it is.", Maggie held open the right page. "See? Average!"
