I am a collector of things my sisters would say I'm a hoarder but I actually use the things I collect.
Some of my collections include funny shaped cake pans or cookie cutters which I use.....on occasion.
Besides cookie cutters and cake pans I also save love letters. I've never received one. I only save the ones I write.
They're my prized possession. I keep them locked away in a box my mom has gotten me while away.
The love letters I have written are for boys I have found myself falling in love with, there are five.
Though I do not send the letters, I address each one and place it in an envelope and into the box.
These letters are more of an escape for me. A place where I can write how I feel without persecution or even worse embarrassment.
After I have realized reality I no longer have these feelings for these boys. I can enjoy the simple things in life without wondering does he like blueberries in his pancakes or does he secretly have a cookie cutter collection.
Say that five times fast.
The understanding that no one will read my letters gives me a sense of freedom.
Or so I thought
