part 2: The Strange Family

I stripped away my clothing trying not to focus on the possible pain that is about to occur. I took a few breathes and felt my eyes change from green to gold. The hairs on my body started to grow and my bones started to move. It didn't hurt as much as the first time, but it still hurt.

"I wont be getting used to this anytime soon!"

After the transformation was done I looked into the water in a bucket next to the house, I saw a brown wolf, that's how I knew it was done and it was done right. It was another reason as to why I didn't want to change. I heard stories that some people couldn't transform properly and were stuck in that state of pain or even worse, died.

I ran down to meet up with Annabella when I suddenly stopped, something smelled funny. Whatever it was it didn't make me feel well. I shrugged it off and ran down to town into an ally where Annabella was waiting. Already in her wolf form. She was a white wolf with grey patches here and there. I seen her blue eyes and new it was time for the search. We began checking ally ways, old buildings, parks, side streets, it was a whole lot better to do this because it was dark, but I hope Annabella is gonna be alright.

We checked almost the entire town, before we starting smelling something that put us both on edge. We went towards the smell to a brand new apartment complex. The smell was clear, vampires. We both looked at each other and then split up to cover more ground. Annabella went around the left side and I took the right. The complex was large. I looked through one of the windows. Inside the window I saw a little kid playing with a toy. I didn't normally like kids but it was cute to see the kid so happy. Then i realized that she was a vampire. Why didn't I feel anything bad at that moment then?

I got to the back of the building were Annabella was waiting for me. We sniffed around for anything, a key or anything for tomorrow when we come back. We were gonna try and be civil and unlock the door. To our surprise, not really, there wasn't any key out there. Which meant breaking some locks tomorrow.

We were on our way back in the middle of the night. I could only think of that girl on the way back. Why didn't I feel the same way as that rogue? I didn't have time to think though.

Out of nowhere Annabella let out a loud whine. I quickly turned around to see a black wolf with scars and wounds on it, its one eye was nothing but white. It had ahold of annabella. It threw her acrossed the ground before I attacked. I ran over it and we rolled on the ground. Both trading bites and slashes from our claws. We then both stood up starring each other down, growling. He charged at me to attack, I tried to move but before I could I could smell the scent I picked up earlier making me freeze. I let out a yelp when i felt his teeth sink into my leg. He yanked my leg sending me to the ground, hard. He starred me down ready to bite my throat. I tried to get up but he put his paw on me holding me down as he reach over to snap my throat.

Before he could annabella ramed into it, causing him to get off of me. He got up quickly, he was about to attack again, but a flash apeared in our direction causing him to run away. We looked at each other and started running. She was ahead a good 12 feet when I collapsed. Right into the snow I couldnt breathe or had the strength to call out, she just kept running. Unaware of the fact I fell, she was gone. My eyes felt really heavy as I watched her run until I couldnt see anything. Then everything went dark...

I woke up and saw that I was laying on a carpet inside some house. I tried to quickly get up, but then a rush of pain went through my leg. I forgot that my leg was injured. I looked around the room and thats when I smelled the sent. I immediately searched for a way out. I was in the vampire's house or apartment or whatever the hell it is. Thats when i saw her, the little girl from earlier laying next to me. I didnt no what to do. I didnt want her to wake up and alert the other vampires that i was awake. They probably knew i was a werewolf and wanted to interagate me or worse, kill me. I slowly moved away from her so that she didnt smack her head and wake up. I got up and limped through the hall into rooms looking for an exit. I couldnt open any door obviously so i searched for an open window or door. I seen a open door but probably wasnt an exit. I went in the room anyways. It was a bedroom, but no one in it. Thats when i turned back to a human. It was less painful, I guess I was getting used to it. I wrapped a blanket around me and searched through every door until there was one left which had to be the exit. I was about to head over to it when the door nob started to move. I quickly ran into a closet to try and hide. I heard the door open and two voices were talking.

"Why did you bring that thing into the house, dad is gonna be pist!"

"Calm down, I only have it here overnight I couldnt let it die!"

"Fine then it leaves now, where is it?"

"Its in the living room sleeping."

They left and thats when I opened the door quickly and transformed. I headed for the open door and looked to see both of them looking at me. Shit, what now!
