Part 26: loyalty Rewarded

          "Its been three hours Sebrina, why are we sitting here!" I've never been mad this long. Annabella is usually here to talk me out of my problems but we have no clue were she is at. Aiden is probably murdered or worse, is being tortured. Chase is to weak to move. I haven't been able to think straight cause im worrying about Aiden all the damn time. This whole Alpha thing is stupid!
          "Damian I think you need to relax. You have been stressed since you woke up." She said with a fearful voice. My eyes immediately turned but this time they were different. I felt a weird feeling rush through my body. It was like getting excited and nervous before meeting your best friend after a you. It felt amazing, it made me completely awake. I never felt more focused. I could see and here everything at once. I looked to Sebrina, "don't tell me what I should do! Im the Alpha! I make judgment of the situation and we ALL act!" Sebrina had fear in her eyes and fell back on the ground. "Damian I-I didn't, mean to, y-your eyes! Damian your eyes are red!" I paused in confusion to what Sebrina said? I grabbed out my phone to try and look at the reflection. The phone was cracked from when we fought Ellana. Atleast it worked so I could turn on the camera to look at my eyes. Sure enough, they were red with a yellow ring around my pupils. I watched them turn as the yellow ring in my eyes expanding turning to my normal wolf eyes before going back to brown. I looked back to Sebrina who was still scared, "Sebrina, Im sorry I was mad at everything thats happened, I didnt mean to scare you." I tried to walk up to her but she backed up and began to panic, "no more, p-please no more!" Sebrina turned and ran off into the woods. I was gonna run and chase after her but chase jumped infront of me. He shook his head making me let her go. "Dammit, what are you gonna leave now too!"

Sebrina pov

          Memories sped through my head about my previous alpha before the massacre. Everytime he got mad he would lash out and take it out on me. He was the type who would abuse his power and control the weak with fear while he praised the gifted. Leaving no room to improve. I stripped and transformed so I could run faster. I was too scared to go back, for fear of a disappointmented Alpha. I thought joining a new pack would make everything better, that if I just behaved and tried my hardest id be accepted. Who knew that was so hard to accomplish...

Three years ago...

"SEBRINA! Get the hell in here now!" I heard my Alphas voice roar for my name. Out of panic I sprinted in his house. Right as I was entering something smashed into my face making me hit the floor. My face stung and I wiped my nose and seen blood on my hand. "What the hell was that for!" I shouted before quickly covering my mouth. Then 10 ft away from me in his chair, the Alpha slammed his fist down on the arm of the chair breaking it, "what did you say, little pup!"  He tried to say it calmly, but you could hear the anger in his voice. He stood up and walked over to me. I tried to back up but backed into one of his best wolves. "Sebrina, do you know why your weak. Its because your actions like these and your filth of a father that your treated like this! Im your only Alpha and trying to have fun. Your not gonna ruin it for me. So youll be punished and will make up for it with me tonight!" Before I could say another word he turned and walked into another room slamming the door behind him. Out of fear I began to cry. This isnt the first time he had done this, this is actually what happens to me, since im the weakest out of all of them. Im picked on the most by all, all except my boyfriend...

Present day

          I stopped running to see where I was at. I was surrounded by trees just like always. I sniffered the air for anything familiar, but no luck. Then I sat down to think of were I could go. Then in the distance I saw a figure watching me. It looked to be the shape of a wolf so with caution, I drew near it. Once I was close enough, I could smell a familar, calming scent comming from the wolf. "Ace, ACE! Is that you!" I could remember his scent anywhere, but it doesnt make sense? I watched him die, how is he alive. Once I was close enough he then was in human form. How did he change that quick? I dont even remember him changing from wolf to human? "Sebrina... hows my tiger?" Ace speaks in a calming voice, a tone that ive missed hearing. "Ace, I-I dont know how, are you a spirit?" It was hard to talk over my excitement and sadness. "Yeah... it took a little getting used to though, once I learned that I could communicate with a loved one I tried to get to you as soon as I could. Im sorry I left you, I never wanted to hurt you..." regret and saddness was in his voice while he analyzed me. Thats when I relize that I was human. My face filled with shock as I didnt feel a thing. "You like that? Middleground is amazing Sebrina! No more pain or hate, no violence, everything is perfect!" He seemed so excited to tell me. Quickly, my smile went away before I asked the one simple question that took his cheerful attitude from him, "is your Alpha in the Middleground?" Ace tried not to laughed, like my question was funny. "Sebrina, why would you think filth like him could fet to the underground? He is where he belongs, in hell with Satan..." relief wiped my face of the fear of seeing him again. Ace stepped up closer to me and pulled me close, I almost jumpes from shock. "How is..." I was speechless after feeling his touch. It was different, a good different. It was gentle, calming and made me feel safe. I held him tighter, not wanting to let go. "Sebrina, I wish I could stay with you. I even wish I had good news." He pulled me back and squated a little to meet my eyes. He was taller than me after all. His blue eyes found mine and I was trying to prepare to accept the bad news. "Sebrina your current Alpha, Damian, darkness clouds his future Sebrina. Evil will come to his pack, and I dont want you to be forced into it." I pauses a moment to think about what he means. "Whatever it is, Damian and Aiden can handle it, were a family. I cant leave them, just because of a warning!" Ace's face went cold and his eyes started to water. "Please Sebrina, there not safe to be around. That family has been cursed to a fate that you dont deserve, PLEASE, leave them!" I back away from his grip, "Ever since I joined Damian's pack, my life has been better! I didnt have to scavenge, I didnt have to be alone. He is understanding and tries his hardest to chose whats best for the pack! For our family. Damian is the best Alpha ive had out of three and you know that! After all, you watch over me right! Dont tell me how to live my damn life, being a wolf in general is hell, whatever fate Damian has. Ill be right next to him and Aiden, Chase and Annabella!" Ace was trying not to breakdown. He looked so disappointed in me, like he didnt know me. Im not gonna be told who to trust and where to go, not anymore!

Three days before Sebrina's pack Is killed

I woke up to the sounds of running and fighting. Children screams out weighs the sounds of blades peircing through wolves as I got up and raced out. I was already in wolf form. As soon as my eyes adjusted I was horrified at the sight. Two vampires, a hybrid and three wolves invaded our camp. They were rounding us up, I quickly ran behind my tent and transformed and got dressed. Before I could finish putting my shirt on I hear a wolf comming from around the corner. I quickly jump behind the bush and wait. Silence covered the air before I hear the sound of the wolf sniffing the air. Then I hear the wolf walking towards wear I was. I covered my mouth to try and not let it hear my breathing. I looked to the right and saw the snout of the wolf comming from around the corner. I felt like my heart was gonna explode as his red eye peired at me with sharp canine teeth growling at me. I screamed out trying to back up. I backed up to a tree and my body froze out of fear. The wolf lunged at me and I closed my eyes shut. Then a painful whine wiped the air. "Hello love, what are doing over here, my wolves dont like a poorly scripped show." I opened my eyes as a female vampire stood infront of me smiling. Her eyes were bright red and blood escaping her mouth as the wolf layed dead. "W-why did you kill him, isnt he with you?" I tried to keep my composure, but seeing the vampire put fear into me. Vampires have rules over the seven packs for decades with fear. Their head family as they called it were the strongest. Striking fear into other vampires making them do their dirty work. "Oh dear, how will I ever replace him! Hehe, my darling I have hundreds of wolves to do my bidding I can sacrifice three easily." I felt disgusted at what she said. Atleast I know why wolves go missing. "Oh and before you join your pack you should probably get a shirt on, dont want to embarrass your self now" she laughed and the was gone, already on the other side with everyone else. I ran over to wear I changed and pulled out another shirt. It was just a blue shirt, nothing special. Then I threw on a black zip up jacket and ran around my tent to find Ace. Sure enough he was there looking for me. "ACE!" I yelled while running to him. We connected our eyes and I jumped into his arms. I tried not to cry infront of everyone but I couldnt hold back it all, as a tear escaped as I kissed his neck. "Sebrina" he said calmly and with a slight laugh, "everything is gonna be okay, they said that they only want to ask a few questions." I squeezed more slightly as I was worried they were lying. Whoever that girl vampire was didnt really feel like a honorable person. I just hope we make it out of this alive...

Present day, Aiden Pov

My eyesight keeps going in and out as I struggle to stay awake. The dagger was cursed by a witch, I could tell because of how it would send shock and go deeper everytime I was falling asleep to escape the pain. Ellana sat acrossed from me on the ground. We were in some building with some kind of machinary. Maybe it was an old factory but my eyesight could just be messing with me...
