Forbidden love

Part 18: hybrids

          We woke up the next day, at least I did. I could hear Aiden and the others downstairs laughing. I could move my leg from the bed. So I sat up, trying to get out of bed. I almost fell over, my leg was still to weak. I grabbed the edge of the bed before I could actually fall. Whatever that thing was it was dangerous. I looked and there were crutches set up in front of my bed. They were made of wood so someone made them. I didn't want to use them and feel useless, but I wasn't about to stay in this room any longer.

          I made my way to the stairs. It was difficult the first few steps. I moved both crutches to one side, which was my bad leg, and practically hopped down the stairs. While using my hand on the railing for support. When I got close to the bottom of the stairs Aiden saw me and ran over.

"I got it, let me do this myself!"

          Aiden backed up with his hands up as I got down the rest of the way. I moved one of the cruches to the other side and looked up at everyone. They all looked happy to see me, then Sebrina walked up to me.

"How are they?"

"There great, did you make them?"

"Yes I did, you saved my life its the best I could do. There not amazing but it will get you by."

"Thank you."

          Sebrina smiled at me and walked back over to Annabella while I went over to Jeremy's chair. I looked at it before Jeremy got my attention.

"Go ahead, it suits you."

"It isnt my seat."

"None of us are gonna sit in it, besides your the alpha now."

          I debated for a minute before sighing. I tried turning around while hopping on my foot. Chase quickly was at my side and wrapped my arm over his shoulder for support. I sat down and set my cruches to the side. I thanked Chase and he smiled and walked to join the others.

          The rest of the day was normal. Everyone was talking having a good time. Aiden and I were just talking in the living room. I was enjoying myself even though I got an acasional shock in my leg. Eating wasnt difficult. Aiden would bring me food. I tried to tell him he didnt have too. He wasnt my servent. That is when I relized that I hated having a broken leg. I slepted in the chair that night. Aiden pulled up another chair and slept next too me. I like having him around. While he was sleeping I kissed his head before falling asleep...

          The next day was great. I could walk on my leg finally. I was still having a slight limp but it was better then sitting around and using cruches. This morning I helped Annabella and Sebrina make breakfast. Chase caught a deer in the woods and so thats are dinner. We made eggs and toast like we always had. I cut up the veggies and fruit. Annabella made the eggs and buttered the toast. Sebrina made this amazing food, it was chicken and kinda like a gravy ontop. We used it as a topping ontop of a ripped apart peice of bread. It was amazing!

          After everyone was done eating I went upstairs into my room. For an hour I just was reading and looking at the books and pages Jeremy had. I thought since im Alpha might as well educate myself. While I was reading I learned rules, traditions, historic wars and fueds with mutts and other packs. There was alot to learn. Aiden then walked in and stood in the door way.

"I figured youd be here."

"Just stalling time while my leg finishes healing."

          Aiden walked over and sat next to me. He picked up a book and asked if he could join. I of course agreed and for most of the day we just read on and off. At random moments when he got irritated with reading he would kiss me. He actually made reading fun. We eventually went downstairs to have dinner with everyone.

          Dinner was great. Chase cooked the deer, obviously not the whole deer, we put the rest of deer in our freezer downstairs. Aiden and I cut up the fruit and vegetables and helped with making potatoes. Sebrina made the gravy and Annabella set the table. Jeremy always like having everything organized, and I wasnt gonna change that.

After dinner we went to bed. My leg felt alot better than this morning. The pain stopped just a little numb. Instead of sleeping I got ontop of Aiden kissing him. He kissed me back before pulling away.

"Is something wrong?"

"No, just missed you."

"What do you mean ive been in the same house?"

"Not in the same room except one night, im not used to being alone, and I dont want to ever get used to it."

Aiden pulled me closer and kissed me. I kissed him back resting my hand on his cheek. We kept it up till midnight. Once we were done we layed with each other in our arms. After a few minutes I fell asleep. Smelling his scent close to me, made me feel safe. It felt normal. I guess I missed it more than I thought...
