Part 6: Family Reunion

          I walked downstairs to see my family all sitting together at the dinning room. I was really happy to see everyone. I seen my cousin Avan, and my two half brothers charles and Exavior. I walked over to join them, that's when Aunt Clare gave me a hug and asked how I've been. She met my best friend Clare once. It was the most awkward and confusing day ever. Having two people with the same name can make you crazy, trust me.

"Im fine Aunt clare, im glad to see you again!"

"That's good darling."

          Grandpa Clay called us all to eat and before you knew it the room was empty. Okay I may have over exaggerated, but they left quick. Once we were at the dinner table and the food was passed around we started eating. There was a lot of meat with vegetables and fruit. I loved to eat chicken. It was my favorite along with a side dish of strawberries. That is what I always ate when we got together. Obviously I had other foods too, like mashed potatoes and gravy, chicken noodle soup, different kinds of meat. Were wolves we gotta have our meat. Then the human side which makes us want to eat the plant food too. It was great, I loved eating with all of the family. It was like a true pack. Well a bigger one than what im with 24/7.

          A half hour passed and everyone pretty much were finished eating. I was finishing my food when I had a faint smell that was familar. Whatever it was I knew Jeremy could smell it as well, as he looked at me with concern. I nodded my head to go check and he orded everyone into the living room and to waite for us. Once they were gone we headed outside.

          We ran towards the smell until it was strong enough to reconize. Then I smelled another scent with the familar one. Whoever it was it wasnt alone. When we finally got there we seen Ellana and a older gentlemen waiting for us. The man had long curly black hair that almost went to his shoulders. One of his eyes were white while the other one was red. It scared the hell out of me at first. The man was carring peices of paper folded up neatly. They fact that he was wearing a suit meant that he didnt want to fight I suppose.

"Who are you, what do you want?"

"Same thing you want Mr. Travic"

"And what would that be?"

"Peace between us."

"If you wanted peace then you wouldnt be in our territory!"

Jeremy looked angry, he never like vampires and we both could smell the blood stained on his teeth. We were both ready to fight. Especially Ellana, she was our main focus after what happened earlier.

"I suppose one of your pack members met my son Aiden Ross?"

"What about it?"

"Well he has astablished a romantic connection with one of your own, I wont allow that."

"Well I dont care that you are angry with your son, but what does that have to do with mine?!"

"We have rules, Mr. Travic, rules I intend to keep!"

"The only damn rules I follow are the ones I make to help protect my pack!"

"I assure you Mr. travic, you dont want to be on my bad side!"

"Same for you!"

          The male vampire had anger in his eyes. He clearly never met anyone like Jeremy. Us werewolves had rules of our own, but it was basic. Keep our secret, dont kill humans. Those are the most important.

          Im guessing vampires rules were different. It would make sense, were completely different. The guy vampire looked at me with rage as he took a breathe.

"Vampires are not allowed to be in a relationship with werewolves! Its acient law taught from one generation to the next!"

Thats when I snapped, rage filled my body.

"He is my mate! The one I love! Those rules dont mean anything anymore!"

"How dare you!"

          He lunged forward to try and grab me but jeremy grabbed his arms throwing him on his back. Thats when Ellana striked, she rammed into jeremy making him fall to the ground. I immediately pulled her off throwing her into a tree. When she fell she got back up, showing her teeth and her eyes blood red. She was about to charge at me until the guy vampire screamed out, "thats enough!"

"I came here to talk! Not wage war!"

"You should of thought about that before attacking my son!"

" my apologies "

"Who the hell are you anyway?"

"My name is Kalmin Ross, father of Aiden Ross. I care alot and worry for the future of all vampires! I acted foolishly please, listen to what I have to say and will be off!"

          Jeremy walked up right in Kalmin's face and stared him in the eye. Jeremy's eyes were bright gold. He was pissed at kalmin and Ellana. He had his hands into fists trying not to knock him out.

"Talk!"

          After two minutes of going over what he had to say all I could make out was Jeremy blowing up, screaming that Aiden and I were mates and that he wasnt gonna break us apart. He said that they were living on his territory and that they go by his rules. If they didnt....
They would die!

          Eventually after an hour of convincing Kalmin agreed, but he hated it. Aiden and I could be together! I felt so happy, but jeremy didnt look happy. I could tell that he wished it didnt turn out like this. He would be forced to protect a vampire. The kind he hated! I didnt know how to feel then. One part was excited and happy that I could be with Aiden. The other well, I felt bad for my father. Ellana looked more evil then ever. She had death in her eyes. Something ive only came close to seeing. That was when jeremy fought that other vampire. She had a similar look in her eyes. I wasnt worried though. Ive changed since meeting my first vampire. Im not afriad besides I was able to push her back into a tree. Im stronger than her.

"This is not over, Damian Travic!"

          I didnt say anything to her, she could say what she want. Next time Jeremy wont hold me back...
