As Alicia awoke, sun filtering through gaps in the blind, she couldn't bring herself to open her eyes; choosing instead to cuddle closer to the comfortable warm object her head was resting on. That was, until she heard that all too familiar chuckle. Of course.
"I didn't know you were so affectionate Ali." Shane laughed, wrapping his arms tighter around her waist and kissing her forehead. Ali groaned, shoving him out of the bed with a hard kick. This didn't have the desired effect, however, as Shane simply laughed from the pile he was now in on the floor.
"You're a delight in the morning, has anyone ever told you that?" he continued cheekily with a grin; irritating Alicia even further as she couldn't help but find it endearing.
"Shane, shut the hell up you annoying ass. I have no idea why I just had sex with you! I was doing so well not sleeping around lately. I mean, I didn't go like a whole year without it, but I wasn't being a complete reckless mess" she mumbled, gesturing towards their still nude bodies. She could feel the irritatingly attractive man chuckle as he lay back next to her.
"Oh, that bad for you ey?" He questioned jokingly, and Ali didn't need to look at him to know there'd be a cheeky glint in his eyes. Alicia finally turned to look at the man, unamused.
"We both know that isn't true, bulldog" she said blankly, to which he grinned again and winked. Ali needed to have some strong words with her emotions, as the butterflies that look gave her were wholly unacceptable.
"Exactly, so nothing to be worried about" he retorted, wrapping his arms back around her. She stayed there for a moment, snuggled into him, before she suddenly tensed; she felt far too comfortable like that. Not knowing how to deal with that thought, Alicia immediately tried to struggle free, ignoring Shane's sleepy complaints.
"Fucks sake Shane, let me go so I can shower"
"Unless I can come with you and do bad things, not a chance" He muttered into her hair. Ali ignored how good of an idea that seemed.
"Okay."
"Okay? Are you serious" He asked incredulously, letting go of the girl's waist. She took that as her chance, sprinting to the bathroom and locking the door before Shane had a chance to react.
"Oh come on Ali! Teasing me like that is just cruel baby,  just punch me again next time!" He shouted through the locked door
"Think of this as pay back for beating up Sax asshole!" she shouted back, muffled by the noise of the water she'd just turned on. "And don't tempt me on punching you"
"That's not fair baby girl, I beat up almost everyone in my class. Plus I didn't know he was your friend!" He grumbled back, leaving Ali to stifle a chuckle after hearing the pout in his voice.
"Shut up and leave me to shower, and I might repay you later.." She answered, to which Shane finally laughed and left. He'd never been all that irritated, but he was definitely a little distracted

Deciding against having a shower of his own, Shane wondered around the room picking up his clothes, remembering with a huffed breath how Ali had quite literally ripped his shirt from his body. He wanted to regret it, but he couldn't muster the energy to, so he put his shorts and boxers back on and decided to wonder around the beach house. He eventually found what he assumed was Ali's older brothers room and blanched; his wardrobe door was open, and it looked bigger than an entire floor of Shane's house. He didn't want to deal with the questions he'd get if he wore his nearly torn in half shirt out of the house though, so after searching through the plain black tshirts, he finally found one without an expensive brand name and guiltily grabbed it. He doubted Jason would even notice; who the hell has an entire section of their wardrobe dedicated to plain black tees? There was a significantly more modest section under the label K, and from what Ali had told him last night, he assumed they belonged to Sax's older brother Kurt. He was now fully aware that Alicia could kick his ass after the night before, but Kurt and Jason still scared the hell out of him; he wanted nothing less than to get on the bad side of the people who taught her how to throw a punch; so he made a mental note to ask her if taking the shirt would be okay before putting it on. As he ambled back to Alicia's room, he looked at the shirt in his hand with a sigh- it felt far too hot to wear clothes that morning, but he wasn't about to make Ali uncomfortable with his nudity, regardless of the fact that she'd already seen it, so he supposed he'd have to deal until he got home. He'd only  just stretched back out across the bed and started flicking through the TV channels when the bathroom door opened, revealing  Ali in the reflection of the mirror near to the television. Holy shit. She was wearing denim shorts with a baggy tshirt tucked lazily into the front. This wouldn't ordinarily be an issue, but it only just covered her ass and just below, and Shane could barely contain his staring at her lean legs. The deep bruise across her thigh did nothing to detract from how good she looked. When he finally managed to tear his eyes away, he noticed Ali was staring at his chest too; and she definitely wasn't looking at the bruises. He supposed he shouldn't be too embarrassed, at least it seemed like the feeling was mutual.
Ali couldn't stop looking at his sculpted chest. It would be a beautiful sight on any day, but the assumingly accidental suggestive way he was laying didn't help her case; if it wasn't for the bruises she'd caused the night before, he'd look like he came straight out of a magazine. Hell, he still did, it did nothing but make him look more rugged.

"Hey" he eventually said lamely, breaking the silence as he continued trying to stop himself from checking her out. She seemed to snap out of her daze enough to give him a weak smile in return, and walked over to sit next to him on the bed. Damn it, did she have to sit so close?
"You don't mind if I borrow this shirt of Jason's do you? I went and found his wardrobe after I realised you ripped mine, but I wanted to ask before I put it on" he said nervously, more anxious about how close she was sitting and the way he was still laying down than her answer.
"Nah, you didn't take his favourite cat shirt or anything obnoxiously designer, so he wont even notice it's gone" She said honestly then chuckled. After that, silence fell again. Shane was glad of it though; it made it easier to concentrate on keeping his stupid teenage hormones from making  him take their clothes off again.

"Uh, do you want some breakfast? Believe it or not I can cook... Well, I can kinda cook, I can make pancakes that aren't burnt and taste edible, unlike my brother who nearly started a full on oil fire yesterday; the bar is pretty low in my house" She rambled, gaining a genuine smile from Shane, who was grateful for the distraction.
"Sure"
He wasn't sure if he was just attracted to Alicia or developing a minor crush, but one thing was very clear to Shane; he was absolutely screwed.

As awkward as Alicia had found breakfast, she was relieved the tension had finally eased at least a little; it would probably help if he put the damn t-shirt on, his body was more distracting than she'd ever admit out loud, but she wasn't about to ask him to get dressed- she was enjoying the view. They were eating pancakes in an easy break in their conversation, when a thought crossed Alicia's mind.
"Whats wrong?!" Shane asked immediately, sounding genuinely concerned by her expression changing. She grinned.
"Nothing serious Shane, I just wanted a nickname for you since you call me Ali. Y'know, something real cute. I was thinking about it after, uh, last night's activities" Shane rolled his eyes.
"And what would that be Ali?"
"Shay!" she exclaimed. He raised an eyebrow
"Alright then Ali, you can call me Shay". Shane refused to ever acknowledge how cute he found that nickname, the teasing he'd get from his friends would be a fate worse than death. After another pause, it was Shane's turn to look nervous.
"Look, I know you've known me for  literally two days, and we didn't exactly take it slow by sleeping together, but do you want to go on a date with me tonight? There's this nice restaurant that's owned by one of my friends, so I could get us some last minute reservations. We're obviously attracted to each other, but I want to see where this goes outside of that if you're willing. I, uh.. I really liked talking to you last night." He muttered quickly, completely unaccustomed to speaking honestly about his emotions to anyone but his baby sister. Ali's face lit up as she moved to sit on his lap, and Shane's traitor of a heart leaped.
"Would you mind repeating that?" she said jokingly. He sighed, but they both knew he wasn't as annoyed as he made out.
"I said do you want to go on a date with me tonight Ali?" So cute.
"Of course I will you idiot. I liked talking to you too, that sounds fun."
