"Noah!? Noah baby!?" I call out frantically as I move as quickly as possible through the racks full of clothing, my heart racing almost as fast as my thoughts. I had only taken my eyes off of him for a second, but when I turned back around he was nowhere in sight...and right now it's all I can do not to have a total panic attack.

"Noah?" I call again, ignoring people's looks as my flats tap against the concrete floor.

"Mommy!" I hear him exclaim, and I turn around to see him sitting on the shoulders of one of the store employees, the boy looking about eighteen.

"Oh goddess, there you are baby!" I sigh in relief as I walk to them, and the boy smiles as he hands Noah to me.

"I found him wandering around in the toy department, I figured he was looking for you too." He chuckles, and I notice his name tag says Jason.

"Thank you so much, he usually doesn't wander off like this." I say as I hold Noah on my hip, and Jason nods.

"It's quite alright, he's a real sweet kid. Have a good day ma'am." He says as he walks away, and I look down at the pup in my arms...his sad, puppy dog expression admittedly cute.

"Sweetheart, you really scared me baby...didn't I tell you not to wander off by yourself?" I say as I ruffle his curls.

"Sorry mommy..."

"It's alright baby, just don't do it again. What were you even doing so far away?" I say as I start walking back to my previous place in the store.

"I saw this...for baby." He answers, holding up a cute animal plushie in his hand, and I smile as I take it.

"You picked this out for the baby?" I ask, finding the soft elephant very cute. He nods, putting his hand on my belly.

"We can play together!" He smiles brightly, and I kiss his forehead.

"So sweet, you're a great big brother."

He giggles as we continue back to our former activity, which consists of shopping for his little sibling. Me, Jess, and Amy are all out shopping today, after their insistence that I was spending too much time in the house. I was a little hesitant at first, not really comfortable with going to town when I'm so close to being due...I know I still have a couple of weeks, but Dr. Sandra said it was entirely possible for pups to come early, though considering this is my first pregnancy it's not as likely.

Both Jess and Amy have already welcomed their little ones into the world, which isn't surprising considering they were both further along than I was. Jessica and Jacob now have a beautiful baby girl named Vivian, who at a little over a month old already has her daddy wrapped tightly around her little fingers. As for Amy and Paul, they have an adorable little boy named Mason...whose literally the mini version of his daddy...
